Feel so low and confused
I'm 32, mum of two children. 3 years ago split up from my husband of 10 years, he left me for someone else. I lost 8 stone in weight, I had a great job. Last year all my weight piled on, I lost my job, my ex had a baby, and just recently I have to move as my landlord wants his house back. Since our split

Anyone here ever donated Platelets?
I miss the days I used to give blood regularly, but these days as hypothyroid and post gastric bypass I feel I need to 'hold on' to every vitamin/mineral/iron cell I have as they are so precious to our health aren't they? Because of this I thought maybe I could become a 'platelet' donour. I have

Is there anyone else that has had gastric bypass and later on diagnosed with Parkinsons disease? I would like to know because I have been trying to figure out where the Parkinsons came from.I have no history of it in my family, never been around toxic chemicals, or had any type of head injury.I am not

Does anyone have know someone who has had a gastric bypass surgery and was diagnosed with Parkinson's later?
I had the gastric bypass surgery in November of 2011. March 13th, 2012 a name was given to my tremor, shuffling gait, increasingly expressionless face and even more symptoms. If you are not familiar with the diet following a gastric bypass, it is one that protein is should make up the majority of the

I did it with 5x50 T-shirt and a bottle of champagne at the finish line :)
I'm so happy....that is an understatement actually....I'm ecstatic :) 9 weeks ago I never in a million thought I could run for 30 minutes. I have had an exciting journey from September 2012. I had a gastric bypass op and have dieted and exercised since then. I started C25K in February and finally finished

I posted on this site about 4 weeks ago to say that I was starting the hypnotic gastric band treatment, I was very excited about it and wanted to share it with everyone. Hi all, I've put on 8 stone since I've finished work, I know that a lot of our medication causes weight gain but this is mad !!!! I've always had trouble with my weight but this is a nightmare. I can't do weight watchers or slimming world as I hate the meetings and I was not motivated to do it on line

Hi all Hoping for some advice. I have always been overweight but 5 years ago I paid private for a gastric band which I lost 10stone. Then I fell pregnant with my 4th baby and since his birth gained 5 stone. I have been diagnosed with post natal depression and been on pills for that for over a year

Does this sound like B12 defeciency?
I had a gastric bypass three years ago, lost over 10 stone and have taken multi vitamins and minerals ever since. I have never had any follow up from either the bariatric team and my GP, and until now did not realise the damage defeciencies can cause! I have had a very sore tongue and mouth, to the

Aspertame/Diet Drinks--Has anyone stopped drinking them and noticed improvement?
I just read an article about aspartame/chemical sweeteners and how they (theoretically) relate to Lupus and MS. I'm curious if any of you have tried cutting them out of your diet completely and if you noticed any improvement in symptoms. I've had gastric bypass, so these are the only sweeteners that

Ive finally got round to putting in another claim for dla, as its been 13 months since my last attempt..Im still waiting for a tribunal date to appeal the decision from last time. Since my last visit to this site, ive been to the pain clinic, the outcome being that I go on a 6 wk pain management course
