Importance of vitamin K2. It is not only strengthening your bones and teeth, but can kill the bacteria causing dental cavities
Quite interesting article. The power of K2 with other cofactor in dental health has been recognised decades ago. Unfortunately since it has been ditched and K2 has been considered not important. This is what big pharma do not want people to know. Could we simply prevent tooth decay and even fix dental

Fibromyalgia
Hi all it's been a while since I was on here. My symptoms vary day to day and to top it off my plantar fasciitis has came back with tendinitis for company. Have changed my sales advisor job where I was on my feet all day to a part time job wher I am allowed to sit if I need to. However this is killing

I have had GAD, MDD, and Insomnia before COPD and have read about most medications for these conditions What helps you?
Some of the meds I take have shortness of breath as a side-effect. Benzos all have a risk I took Restoril for 2 days last week and couldn't breathe and had to go back on oxygen. I take a TCA for depression and they too cause SOB and SSRI's are better. Can anyone tell me what they are using for these

Repetitive Colds - Any advice please?
Hi, I have been having repetitive colds since the beginning of December and it is now my 3rd cold since then. I had been feeling really well all of last year and after my last blood test in February when my TSH was 2.29, I had an increase in my Levothyroxine from 75mcg to 100mcg. Is the immune system

Hi, my name is Peejay, I have just joined. I suffer from COPD and have don so for some years now. .My arms and legs are increasingly getting weaker, so much so that my legs feel as though they will buckle from under me at anytime and my arms feel like led weights Is this in any way connected to COPD

Thoughts on CRPS compensation
So I've had negligence upon negligence and then some more...! I originally fell down the stairs and broke my leg in 3 places. They put 6 screws in my leg. One was in the wrong place (but could be argued with that it was acceptable) the other was slightly too long - confirmed by CT scan, and needed replacing

Who has found that during W&W you didn't suffer from colds, bacterial, viral or fungal infections? And immunity is strong?
I am curious if any of us currently Keep or have kept a journal to record how their immune system seems to be functioning during W&W? I have and so far,so good. No colds or infections in the last year or so,except the occasional cold sore when I eat too much almond or peanut butter. And this is something

Spinal Cord Stimulation for PD Pain
I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with electrical spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of pain related to PD. Meds have become ineffective and the pain disabling many days. I already have had dbs surgery so I figure at least I could keep some appliances running during a power outage

Mouth Sores and HU
Hi Everyone, I've read most of the posts regarding mouth sores. I'm suffering right now and seems worse instead of better even with salt water baking soda rinse. I'm wondering if this is considered an allergic reaction to HU or a food perhaps, an immune system problem or is it viral like a cold sore

Help with vitamin results please
Hi I am 12 months diagnosed with hypothyroid and finally near getting my levels sorted, however I think I may have a bit of a conversion issue, as my thyroid hormones are out of balance with a TSH that low and FT4 that high I would have expected a much higher FT3 too. I have just had a thyroid and

My stomach around the injection site is all red and itchy :( I've only been doing the cetrotide for 2 days and I've had to cool it down with ice, but my god, SO itchy! Anyone got any recommendations? Can I use E45 cream on the site?

Carotid pulse
Hi, I am newly diagnosed with COPD after a flare in January. Aside from hyperinflation, my biggest issue is how strong my pulse is all over my body but I also get a really strong pulse in both arteries in my neck, so much so I can see it pounding in the mirror. I was wondering if anyone else gets this

Exercise and TSH - new blood results !
Well I have finally had my NHS results back and was asked to post them to see what effect if any had been achieved. I will start off by saying that apart from having a stinky head cold which stopped me going to the gym since the 20th I continue to feel better than I have since pre diagnosis last April

After I got diagnosed with COPD in Feb 2016, I ended up losing my job with a global FM company. A clever move by them. So my wife and I sold up and have only recently moved to the sea coast of Lincolnshire. Before leaving Berkshire, I had my 12 monthly COPD review and had to provide the nurse with Spirometry

PD and spinal cord stimulation
My husband has PD and arthritis with degenerative disk disease. He is currently doing a trial for a spinal cord stimulator. It is called Stimwave device. It seems to be helping with back pain. Has anyone had this procedure done?
