***Great monthly exam. ***
Just got back from my Doctor's appointment. The Doc said he couldn't be happier with my progress. My blood tests all came back with good numbers, PSA 0.1, scans show no progression Mets are all stable. I have the utmost confidence in my medical team and with the help of my family and friends especially

Then after 5 years I started Lupron intermittently. 1 yr on 1 yr off. Next I did the immunotherapy treatment Provenge

Fracture liason nurses.
Hi, a few members have mentioned speaking with their fracture liason nurses. I live in the UK and attend a bone clinic but have never been told of or heard of this kind of nurse. In the last week I have had yet another fracture this is my second in 9 weeks. I now have 6 in total, not on any treatment

Foot issues
Hi Everyone. Hope your day is going well! I thought I had a foot stress fracture. One day I couldn't walk it was so painful. Went to foot dr. took xrays said probably too soon to see on xray. Put on soft cast went back 3weeks later. Still can't find fracture. I am beginning to wonder if it has something

denied guardant360 testing, failed Xtandi. Help!
Hi, my dad was denied the guardant360 next gen sequencing (NGS) His onc said his metastasis is limited to bone and that it is difficult to biopsy prostate cancer from the bone. So I'm thinking that's why he's asking for guardiant instead of foundation one. Are there foundations that help people pay

OSTEOPOROSIS THE FORGOTTEN DISEASE YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.
How can hospitals help when after an x-ray they send you home telling you there are no new
fractures
. Why can’t my local hospital detect these
fractures
but the hospital I attend for scans and treatments can???

ADT therapy
My Dad has stage 4 prostate cancer. He was diagnosed in late 2019. He is currently taking Lupron and Zytiga. His PSA has been steadily increasing each month. Has anyone else tried a different type of ADT therapy after there PSA increased? I’ve read that normally you would not try another ADT after one

Is ADT necessary when you take Zytiga?
These side effects include loss of libido, loss of bone mass, causing an increased risk of
fractures
, hot flashes, cardiovascular complications, metabolic complications like diabetes, etc.

Starting Zytiga after Xtandi failed
Has anyone had any success going on to Zytiga after Xatandi? I was on Xtandi for 4 months and it did not work from day 1 . Oncologolist wants to try Zytiga now. Concerned they are just wasting time.

Xgeva Question...Please tell me what it is like for you to be on Xgeva
Hi Please tell me what it is like for you to be on Xgeva. Are the injections painful? Have you stopped taking the injections because of side effects from Xgeva? Whatever you can share from your experience with Xgeva will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Muscle fatigue
I’m still finding this a problem. Even though I’m fairly sure my levels are good now (they’ve been steady and dose constant for a few months now, even with increased exercise etc) and I’m managing to be very active again - walking, cycling, just being a mum!, and I completed the couch to 5k this week

W1R1 with my dad
Morning all, hope you’re all well! My dad and I completed the first run today. My dad has struggled with shin splints, calf and Achilles issues in the past, so this is really about him building into his running, preventing pain and enjoying running for the sake of running. I’m merely his guide, his

ADT vacation has been great, but coming to an end soon
Hello fellow PC warriors, I have been on an ADT vacation now for about 8 months, and it has been wonderful. My T is currently at 250 (I had low T before starting treatment) and PSA has come up from 0.000 to 0.1 PSA has been increasing by a factor of 5 every 8 weeks, so in 3-4 months it should be in
