PSA raised rapidly after 2 months finishing chemo
My dad just took the PSA test and it increased from 0.29 to 1.16 and ALP of 134.2 U/L (40 - 129) after 2 months finishing chemo. He did this test for himself since his doctor askes him take the test after 3 months from chemo. With the above result, we think he need a treatment. -My dad had taken Casodex

Call the resuscitation team!!
Dear Lord! I've done my first 'run' and survived. However I just cannot jog or trot and I did try. There were terrible grindings and 'movements' inside my right knee and my left knee just collapsed. Sooo instead of running I am walking faster. My current 'brisk' walking speed is the treadmill at

Prolia
From what I read you should not be taking it this long and when you stop the incidence of
fractures
increases greatly. Has anyone stopped Prolia and were there any problems? Copper23

How effective has xtandi been for anyone after firmagon (or other adt drug) became less effective with psa rising? Also, is the tiredness symptom debilitating? Thank you

ADT and growth of breasts
I was not a victim of breast enlargement during my first injection of Lupron or while on Casodex but I do not know if it is any indication that my breasts won't grow once I start ADT again in a few weeks. Did any of you experience growing breasts while under ADT? If yes, did they go away after treatment

Dexa scan results while on prednisone and using the COMB micronutrient protocol.
After being diagnosed with osteoporosis 2 years ago I had tried Alendronate and couldn't tolerate it; Tried Forteo for a couple of months but ended up in ER with shortness of breath. With my rheumatologist and internist approval I followed the Micronutrient protocol for 1 1/2 years - while taking prednisone

Lupron vs Trelstar
Hello all. Been on Lupron for a year. Switched Docs, he switched me to Trelstar. And comments on which is better? Any complications from switching? My PSA has been undetectable for a year.

Another stable guy from MA
It's possible some horrible thing is lurking under the healing
fractures
on that side, but his PSA has been stable for many months: .38 though they didn't take a PSA this time.) His ALP is still low, 38, and all other blood work totally normal.

PSA 0.04 after 6 years
Hi Guys: It has been a while since I last posted but here is the latest going on with me...7 months ago my PSA had gone from undetectable to 0.03..I was soo disappointed after having joined the undetectable club for over 5 years. Oncologist told me then that it was clinically insignificant. Retested

Casodex vs Zytiga
Three years into diagnosis, mastasized into bone. Casodex controlled PSA first year. PSA went up a little, switched to Extandi, had Provenge treatment. Also shots of Eligard. Then Zytiga. Rising PSA now. Has anyone gone back to Casodex. Doctor suggest Taxotere next, but I'm not keen on it. Weight 120

Remark by Oncologist did not make sense
Went for another treatment of SBRT today for mets in my hip. Met with Oncologist afterward and were discussing treatment and stated that my Psa has dropped the last 2 tests but my met on hip had enlarged. He stated that Psa may not be a good indicator of my situation and the the zytiga I have been on

How long should I give it?
Hi, bit of background. Am 65 and decided to do the C25k. Completed 9 weeks without any real difficulty and was feeling good. Decided to keep doing 30 mins three times a week. On second run after graduating, my right leg hurt like hell towards the end of the run. By the time I had completed the warm down

Just an update on my insufficiency fracture of the head of the right femur
It did show that I also had insufficiency
fractures
of the ilium. The pain is still with me and I have been using a walker to take weight off of the hip. That has been a challenge with the icy weather. I know that a fall would mean a shorter life span.

Lupron or orchiectomy
For economic reasons I am contemplating orchiectomy. I say “contemplating” because, the idea occurred some time ago and I haven’t yet done it. My next orchiectomy “window “ comes up at month’s end when my 3 month Lupron is scheduled. My wife had pretty much talked me into another postponement,
