4 Months Firmagon & 3 Months Zytiga + Prednisone Progress Question
I started Firmagon on May 6 and Zytiga-prednisone on June 9. The important numbers have steadily improved. PSA now down to 4.7 from 47. ALP now down to 63 from a high of 149. Everything else looks great, from the middle-end of the range to the low in comprehensive metabolic tests. My question is the

Prolia=Exgeva ???
MO is recommending 6 month infusions of Prolia (which does contain Exgeva along with other feminine based drugs). Xgeva is much newer and specific to males. My question is as follows: Is a single 6 month infusion of Prolia=6 months of Xgeva infusions for effectiveness ???? Took note that once on Prolia

Dangerous couches and villainous coffee tables
Be warned: getting up at speed from your couch is a dangerous activity. I’ve had four lovely consolidation runs since I graduated and I’m looking forward to my first 5km run during the Budapest marathon weekend. Or at least I was. I stupidly walked into the leg of the coffee table when I was rushing

Prevent shin splits
Although got shin pains at about week 4 of C25K I completed whole program last year. I was going to go for 10k but my my legs were so in pain that after gp advice I gave my legs a good rest. A bit too long I guess as I became unfit again. So here I am l, back to the program, but with concerns with regarding

Fenbendazole Just Might be Working–Part 1
I do not pretend that the following proves anything, or is much good as evidence. The move from 0.02 to <0.02 is certainly small. Obviously it could all go poof with the next PSA test, but until then I am hopeful. My MO, not a supplements fan, isnot impressed. I have read that Fenbendazole is expected

Fenbendazole Just Might be Working–Part 2
So, if it is working (see Part 1), my question is what would be the best course to follow when I am on ADT holiday waiting to see if PSA comes back (lupron due to wear off in November)? I take the view that if I am cured, some extra treatments are not a big deal, and, if I am not (more likely IMO),

BAT like therapy
I have G9, hormone sensitive prostate cancer. Had an RP in 12/2018. Estrogen therapy dropped my T down to zero. And my PSAs remained at zero. I did this for 5 months but stopped because of the side effects (felt great mentally but no libido and strength loss to the point that I wondered how long I could

BATlike therapy
My thought. Please critique this plan. I am not PrC (had RP in 12/2018 and PSAs have been zero since then). Gleason 9, one local lymph node, positive margin. This is my tentative plan (reduce risk of CrPc and increase libido for a little bit each year). 6 monthsBicalutamide, Dutasteride, Zytiga 2

Sural Nerve Graft post RP to fix Erectile Dysfunction
Hi guys, I’ve been researching nerve grafting for Erectile dysfunction post radical prostatectomy. I just miss the good old days of spontaneity and the Tri-mix injections are...well...just not spontaneous. Do any of you have experience with this procedure? Have any of you overcome ED after several

The News of My Expiration is Greatly Exaggerated
March 6, 2017, doctor got right to the point. You have Stage IV Prostate cancer. You have one and a half years to live, maybe two and a half years if you undergo chemo. As I had had a skeletal event (fractured back, getting up from couch - T12 50% compression fracture), extensive bone mets including

Finally got my foot looked at....
Think it is a soft tissue injury. I've been prescribed a week course of strong anti inflammatory tablets and being referred for a scan. Advised to rest it for now and see how the pills work so I guess I'll have to do that 😕

I developed osteoporosis with

years before I was diagnosed with cancer and years before starting any ADT drugs for cancer. I was always very active in fun recreational sports and worked out in the Gym.
