Title :Enzalutamide and Niclosamide in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
With all the interest in my last post I thought some might be interested in this: https://www.cureitt.com/trialdetails?nctid=NCT03123978 Maybe someone out there could explain the difference between niclosamide and Fenbendazole, they are both used for deworming dogs.

Mets shrinking
Went in for yearly bone scan. Mets on tail bone was not detectable and those on my spine have noticeably shrunk. I am on Lupron, Zytiga and workout 5 days a week. I have the BRCA2 disorder. While I will never be cured I find this very encouraging. My question is has anyone else had this kind of success

Adenomyosis
In the meantime, she's told me I should not go on HRT as that will make the adenomyosis worse but if I don't go on HRT I have to suffer the hot flashes, the sleepless nights, the risks to bones (I've had rib
fractures
before). Anyone else with this condition?

$790 For a 5-minute Video call? And Firmagon shortage?
My RO just sent his bill for a 5 minute video conference call he had with me to tell me something that could easily have been put in an email! $790 !!! So why are healthcare costs out of sight in the US??? Oh, and I just got a call telling me that Firmagon is in short supply and they have to delay

Piriformis Syndrome with PMR
I have had a terrible day today starting with not being able to get off the sofa. WE had to call an ambulance and paramedics needed to give me gas and air for the pain before taking me to hospital where they gave me Oramorph. I am home again and have oramorph from GP for the weekend before going again

Xtandi + Niacinamide
Hey guys, I have been on xtandi for 4 1/2 years. Started in a clinical trial. After 4 years my PSA started to rise. the trial ended but my Research Doctor told me to stay on Xtandi. My PSA continued to rise to 78..86. No new trials or treatment were available so once again I had to do my own research

Broken shoulder with osteopenia
Can’t believe what I did a week ago today, was in my salon and sat kind of sideways on the backwash seat chatting to a client when I just leant too far (very much like Del Boy when he fell through the bar) and the whole backwash unit came with me!!! I have fractured my humerus and broken my shoulder

Pain in ribs at night
I'm new to this hub and this is my first post. I have recently been waking during the night with pain under ribs at right side, and often extending around the back. I have to sit straight up for an hour or more until it subsides, as lying down makes it worse. I am guessing maybe Biliary Colic. I

How bad does it have to get?
It does look as if the four (so far) compression
fractures
in my spine may be caused by osteoporosis, which can be due to the bone marrow problem.

To Hell and back plus custard creams and tea
The main after effects of the encephalitis and seizures were short-term memory loss, confusion, tiredness, loss of sense of taste and smell and joint pain (especially in my spine which had suffered several compression
fractures
during my hospitalisation - I suffer from osteoporosis).

Shin splints!
So I went out to run two days ago and decided to do a run with no music and just my watch. Planned to run for about 40 mins. 15 mins in and I got a call from someone which I needed to take. I did contemplate ignoring it but thought it would be a good test to see if I could hold a conversation whilst

It's been a full week since my castration...and feeling GREAT.
My surgical orchidectomy was last Monday afternoon. In my attempt to keep everyone interested "posted" on my journey.... I have more energy than I have had in months(since before Radiation in Feb/Mar)....it might be because the weather has finally cooled down to the 70's and low 80's here in Ft. Lauderdale

6 Months on Xtandi
Gentlemen, I've been on Xtandi since April and has kept my PSA to undectable from 6.7. When I told my Onc 2 weeks ago about the extra fatigue that sometimes can be unbearable, i asked him if we can reduce it. He said we can try 3 instead of the 4 pills. I chickened out and stayed with 4. I didn't want

So frustrated!
Anyway, my wrist still hurt so got an x-ray which showed a couple of
fractures
so now in a plaster cast for who knows how long. Told not to run as not allowed to get cast damp / sweaty or it will go soggy. I'm so worried I will lose all the fitness I have worked so hard for.

Provenge extends survival for mCRPC patients, compared with Zytiga and Xtandi alone
Not sure if this was posted already, but seems like adding Provenge to the treatment regimen for mCRPC improves overall survival over Zytiga and Xtandi (and the numbers are pretty significant): https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12325-020-01509-5#Abs1 Art

PSA leveled off
I went in Monday for my Firmagon injection and bloodwork. My PSA seems to have leveled off at 0.6. Should I be expecting it to go lower, or is that my new "normal"? I see lots of guys on here that have levels of 0.02 which I guess is basically undetectable.
