Foot issues
Hi Everyone. Hope your day is going well! I thought I had a foot stress fracture. One day I couldn't walk it was so painful. Went to foot dr. took xrays said probably too soon to see on xray. Put on soft cast went back 3weeks later. Still can't find fracture. I am beginning to wonder if it has something

denied guardant360 testing, failed Xtandi. Help!
Hi, my dad was denied the guardant360 next gen sequencing (NGS) His onc said his metastasis is limited to bone and that it is difficult to biopsy prostate cancer from the bone. So I'm thinking that's why he's asking for guardiant instead of foundation one. Are there foundations that help people pay

ADT therapy
My Dad has stage 4 prostate cancer. He was diagnosed in late 2019. He is currently taking Lupron and Zytiga. His PSA has been steadily increasing each month. Has anyone else tried a different type of ADT therapy after there PSA increased? I’ve read that normally you would not try another ADT after one

OSTEOPOROSIS THE FORGOTTEN DISEASE YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.
How can hospitals help when after an x-ray they send you home telling you there are no new
fractures
. Why can’t my local hospital detect these
fractures
but the hospital I attend for scans and treatments can???

Is ADT necessary when you take Zytiga?
These side effects include loss of libido, loss of bone mass, causing an increased risk of
fractures
, hot flashes, cardiovascular complications, metabolic complications like diabetes, etc.

Starting Zytiga after Xtandi failed
Has anyone had any success going on to Zytiga after Xatandi? I was on Xtandi for 4 months and it did not work from day 1 . Oncologolist wants to try Zytiga now. Concerned they are just wasting time.

Xgeva Question...Please tell me what it is like for you to be on Xgeva
Hi Please tell me what it is like for you to be on Xgeva. Are the injections painful? Have you stopped taking the injections because of side effects from Xgeva? Whatever you can share from your experience with Xgeva will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Muscle fatigue
I’m still finding this a problem. Even though I’m fairly sure my levels are good now (they’ve been steady and dose constant for a few months now, even with increased exercise etc) and I’m managing to be very active again - walking, cycling, just being a mum!, and I completed the couch to 5k this week

W1R1 with my dad
Morning all, hope you’re all well! My dad and I completed the first run today. My dad has struggled with shin splints, calf and Achilles issues in the past, so this is really about him building into his running, preventing pain and enjoying running for the sake of running. I’m merely his guide, his

ADT vacation has been great, but coming to an end soon
Hello fellow PC warriors, I have been on an ADT vacation now for about 8 months, and it has been wonderful. My T is currently at 250 (I had low T before starting treatment) and PSA has come up from 0.000 to 0.1 PSA has been increasing by a factor of 5 every 8 weeks, so in 3-4 months it should be in

Xgeva vs Estrogen Patch against bone loss?
my husband will begin ADT, probably Firmagon. since he has already some micro bone mets and to some degree osteopenia, bone loss while on ADT is an even more serious issue. What are the differences in this regard between Xgeva and E2 add-back in men undergoing non-estrogen ADT?

Firmagon - no side effects not working?
Hello! My father took a triple dose of Firmagon 3 days ago and besides feeling a bit tired and almost drunk the first day (and an itching on the injection spots) says he feel zero side effects. He even woke up the day after with an erection (which he told me about in a ”it doesnt seem to work??”-fashion

Zytiga Has Stopped. What's next
PSA started at 250+ in November. Got down to 7 in April. Since then has risen to 19 in July. Had a bone and CT scan. Unfortunately it was mixed news. There is evidence of progression in my bone disease. However, spots on my lung and Kidney are gone. My Onc wants me to start on Xgeva in two weeks

Keytruda
I hope everyone is doing well. After genome testing, it was determined that I woild be a candidate for Keytruda. I have been at this fight for 6 years, Taxotere, casodex, lupron, xgeva, Xtandi. They all worked until they didn't. I am still on lupron and xgeva. I had my first infusion of Keytruda on

Xtandi
Question on Xtandi, I have been on Xtandi/Lupron for 41 months with a great deal of success. However, I have been experiencing tons of back pain for quite a few months. Thought it was recurrence but did CT and bone scan and my regular PSA test and all of that was negative for advancement (PSA less than

BAT & Abiraterone / Enzalutamide resensitization
BAT is bipolar androgen therapy. Men receive cyclic high-dose testosterone injections while on ADT. IMO, BAT is best started along with ADT because it may delay CRPC indefinitely. There are numerous reasons for CRPC & not everyone will respond to BAT at that stage - particularly in heavily treated Abiraterone
