Xtandi after Zytiga
MO refusing to substitute dexa for prednisone with Abiraterone since it's not FDA approved. Convinced (?) him to wait 3 weeks (4/5) for blood test after radiation of only active met to check PSA which was 0.253 on 1/21 and 0.309 on 2/21. Hoping result lets me stay on Aba as long as possible. He wants

Sleepyhead!
3 years on Eligard Abiraterone, Xgeva and Prednisone and lately the fatigue is unbearable, particularly after I eat a late breakfast or early lunch. And it really doesn't matter what I eat Anyone else have this?

Hashimotos for Sixteen Years, Realizing I Know Next to Nothing
She actually seemed concerned about kidney and liver issues but I was dealing with pain from vertebral
fractures
and shrinkage of my torso, so those items got pushed out of my mind. Meanwhile, I made quite a few changes to my diet.

at this stage i wonder if she would've had
fractures
with no prolia anyway, i don't know. endo sounded urgent, based on m.r.i scan. i can't give details, but it's not a good report. i wish endo had called as soon as he had the report which would've been almost a week ago.

Trial or not
After completing 6 rounds of docetaxel end of May 2022, I had clean scans including PSMA PET and my PSA was undetectable. As of my most recent tests, end of Feb, my PSA has already begun to rise slightly. I am just below 1.0 as of last week with increases shown 2 weeks in a row. There is also evidence

Pain in foot at end of run
I wonder if anyone has experienced this, or might have an idea of what it is. I had a couple of weeks break from running recently because of a cough and decided to just run slowly for 10 minutes to start with but at the end of the run, I experienced a sharp pain at the top front of my foot where it joins

Fever after the monthly degarelix shot
Hi All, My father has his degarelix and denosumab subcutaneous injections every 4 weeks as prescribed. Of late he has started getting fevers in the night on the day of the shot. The fever usually lasts for a day and resolves on its own. Initially I assumed this was a one off incident but he has been

unsightly collateral veins in pelvis/pubic area.
I’ve been following these forums for a couple years now- but this is my first time posting here….. ok so here it goes… long story short I’m a 33 year old female. In May of 2021 I was diagnosed with DVTS from the tips of my toes, all the way up both legs, both sides of my pelvis and up my IVC. Needless

Calcium channel blocker dosage
Hi all, I am on Cordilox (AKA Verapamil) which is a calcium channel blocker. Currently taking 2x40 mg twice a day = 160mg/day. Cardiologist suggested I change to one SLOW RELEASE 180mg tablet/day. When I asked. why he kind of said it will result in more even levels of the drug through the day. He

bladder neck invasion. Can it be radiated?
My husband had radical prostatectomy last week and the pathology report came back with “bladder neck invasion present”, in” right mid and superior posterior and left and right bladder neck”. I’m wondering is it possible to radiate that area after he heals from surgery? He’s a gleason 9/10 and 50 years
