forgive me if arrived twice. Caught Campylobacter 3 weeks ago in Portugal. Only treatment there probiotics though I ended up in Faro Hospital on drip and CT scan . Platelets low 73 Mpv high. Bloods showed inflammation. Now in UK on clarythtomicin and wondering about SI B12 as usual. I have problems with

I became very ill with food poisoning in Portugal approx 3 weeks ago. Saw 3 drs who all prescribed probiotics. In the end I spent all day in Faro hospital having a 4 hour drip and CT scan. No sample taken. I lost half a stone . Back in UK tested and had campylobacter . Scan showed nothing.

I cooked ground beef for dinner. It said use or freeze by August 1st. I bought it two days ago. I opened the package. All the meat was pretty bright red except for one spot about the size of a quarter on the top. It was a red/purple color. I’m scared I’ll get sick from eating the beef. I looked online

Hi my friends, I was given Flagyl to treat my digestive system after an episode of food poisoning but this medicine caused a lot of annoying side effects like heartburn and bloating. Did any one had this medicine and how did you feel. Many thanks

I also had a chorizo breakfast wrap this morning and I’m worried I’ll get food poisoning from it.

A Few days prior to embryo transfer a friend gave me some olives which unfortunately gave me really bad food poisoning and made me throw up. It only lasted a day, but it was about three days before my embryo transfer, I didn’t think to tell my doctor as it only last a day and I remain hydrated.

I’m assuming from the sour cream and such but I’m slightly scared I’ll get food poisoning . I now feel nauseous but I don’t know if it’s in my head and I’m scared.

I had a really bad night with stomach ache resulting in D & V I have not changed my dose (8mg) so I am thinking this is food poisoning .. I slept most of the morning eventually so took my Pred at 12noon instead of 8am and have not eaten but have been drinking water.

I’m also having Chinese food tonight and I’m scared I’ll get food poisoning

Since 10pm last night I have barely left the toilet everything has left me violently both ends. My throat is sore from stomach acid burning it, my stomach hurts as there's literally nothing left in my system. Everytime I have a sip of water it comes straight back up. I think it was food poisoning. I started about two /two and a half hours after taking my preds, which I take in an enteric coated capsule. I take a split dose and this morning I took the morning dose, much later than usual, as I was sleeping, with my other meds and no vomiting.

Some advice please,I have food poisoning,sickness and diarrhoea,although the sickness seems to have cleared up!

Now I’m worried if I have food poisoning but it looked cooked. I did eat a granola bar about 30 mins ago and I kept it down. I can’t tell how much of this is me being in my head or what. I also have been busy all day so I just don’t know if I overworked myself.

But I started spiraling with my thoughts and looking up most common foods for food poisoning, and lettuce is number one. I’m so scared now I’ll get sick.

I've just been diagnosed with SIBO after a year of unrelenting diarrhoea following food poisoning at a festival. Also with severe methylation difficulties, B vitamin deficiencies and in particular B12 deficiency.

That or it’s something I had at lunch, which the thought of having food poisoning is not helping things. I really think I’m just overly tired

Should I call the ships doctor and report what I think is food poisoning and try and get an antiemetic injection, with the risk of being told to stay in the cabin for days. Or see how I go and hopefully see a bit of Helsinki tomorrow….if luck is on my side.
