Runniversary 5K run ☀️
Now that I’m settled here at my Dad’s, I’ll work hard to get back to my former
fitness
and hope to run another half marathon when I am fitter. So far, I’ve only managed a 10K here.

Runners with PV
I am looking for somebody to talk to regarding levels of
fitness
and also having PV. At present I have been running 4 times a week (up from 3 before Christmas), totalling about 18-20 miles a week.

Still Running! :) but not ready for the heatwave?!
:) It’s been nearly 5 months since I started C25K and I’m hooked on running :) I recently bought a fitbit which has been a fun way of tracking my heart rate during my runs and generally monitoring my all round
fitness
:) Also, since I started C25K, alongside a new healthier diet, I’ve managed to lose

Difficulty in breathing and blaming COVID-19
I am in my early fifties, with a good level of
fitness
and suffered from an sudden onset of acute right-sided chest pain, which has led to lung infection. Two months later, I'm still suffering with shortness of breath, fatigue and very concerned if I will have this for the rest of my life.

Week 1 Run 1
I wouldn't say I've done no
fitness
in that time. I enjoy hiking and going to classes when we can. I remember the first time starting c25k and feeling really out of breath, red faced, and not enjoying it at all. This time I felt quite good I took it slow and I actually enjoyed it.

0% Experience. 0% Fitness. 100% pain.
I startedrunning yesterday and completely ignored the app and just ran and walked as I saw fit (I was hoping to establish a baseline for my
fitness
, or lack of it). This was a mistake as every part of my body is berating me for my ignorance despite doing the cooldown stretches!

Winter off as it was either too wet or too cold and my
fitness
has completely gone. I have started again and 60 secs running is hard as I am so out of condition. I know I got better last time so that is what keeps me going.

fitness
seems ok, stretched it today to 7k, quite comfortable, obviously big week coming up, not looking forward to thur, might

Intermittent Fasting. Do or Don’t?! 🧐😊🌺
IF is very popular in health,
fitness
, loosing weight lifestyles and it is great for short term boost of your metabolism. I do not follow any type of fasting that restricting water as we know water is essential for our body which is made of approximately 70 percent water.

The Rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust
The watch of course is not impressed with 5K and decided to knock a point off my Vo2Max but left my
fitness
age the same . That's fine ! I'm more interested in enjoying the niggle free run 😁 I have also purposely not been watching my pace , rather , just trying to keep it steady and comfortable.

First attempt at 15K ended at 5K
My first attempt at 15K brought the realisation that the two weeks break I took has affected my
fitness
levels. I was fatigued today and felt I’d be happy with 5K and try again another day.

Back On The Road With A 4K
The Hackney Half Marathon has now been postponed until September which gives me time to build my
fitness
back up and hopefully deal with this health issue.

Bradycardia + RA anyone else?
My first inkling that I have a low HR was when I joined a gym in my early 30's, during my
fitness
assessment it was noted that my HR was as low as that of an elite athlete... (in case you wondered, I am not and never have been lol).

TOO MANY REST DAYS...
I'm worried that my
fitness
will slide and I won't reach that level again. ANY TIPS ANYONE? I have time to get hold of this training without panicking but I do need to take more rest days in between my runs otherwise I just feel exhausted.
