I don’t really know what i’m doing but been a bit fed up lately, aim loving these 20 minute runs and each day is a little faster without me noticing it at the time

Garmin loves them too and is making my fitness age lower and lower

I’m off to work soon and not back til tomorrow but hoping I’m still motivated to run again

Willow is suffering with his cold so not running this week but i hen he’s better i’m going to encourage him to do these NRC guided runs because they are good

Everyone have a great day

Well done on your run before going to work, and hope willow joining you shortly. I will be going out as well before work next week shops fully opening Scotland, early rise 6.15 am same as you short run and bouncing raring to go 🤣( not so sure on raring to go getting used to off work and near retirement). Can’t wait. Will be out before next week if dodgy hip lets me. Enjoy your day 😀

I think these short runs are really good for getting the running mojo back!

A run is a run, after all, even if it’s only 20 minutes long! All the kudos and high of a run...and done and dusted before you know it!

Happy running 🥰

Yes that’s it exactly 😀and i’m doing one a day because i can and have energy left lately i have been running further on my day off and then being shattered, and so far every day has been faster i’m so excited and not pushing it running to keep my breathing good

LottieMW profile image
LottieMWAmbassador in reply toSueAppleRun

Exactly! I’ve got 4 runs to post...I’ve been walking on my non run days too. Then the occasional 10 hour Mass Vac shift on top...I was really knackered...

I cut back to 2 runs...kept them short, and really enjoyed being out on Sunday, and ending up running 6km!

I can’t imagine running tomorrow as working 11-6.30 so not quite sure how i can fit a run round those middle of the day hours, but went again today, that’s 20 minutes a day for 4 days

I enjoy the short NRC runs too as I can fit them into my busy work schedule. At the end of the day running should be fun and not a chore. I’m enjoying the interval runs at the moment. They are short and snappy but also keep you interested. I think I really like them because you have a rest after every interval 😂😂. Hope Willow feels better soon 🤗

He’s beginning to feel better thanks, I’m looking forward to trying some different runs but just plodding until Willow is better and out with me

O I must try these as I’m only running for about 20 minutes for the next few weeks to try and keep my hip safe

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply toScruff55

Good idea, they are good runs, coach tells you what to do and there are so many different guided runs
