I am still here……!
I still managed a run each week but only 6/7km so not enough to maintain
fitness
. It is a month since my last run because in August we had three great weeks walking in the Scottish mountains, and sightseeing too!

Running during the winter months
had never thought of myself as a runner because I could never run more than 2-5 mins at a stretch but I have always enjoyed my walk-runs and the time it gave me to just enjoy nature and feel alive, happy, peaceful…😊 Last year I decided to try c25k - the NHS app is not available here in Sweden, I use

CATCH- up- CORNER... JANUARY WEEK 3...Slip off your shoes...Come on in...
Your level of
fitness
is as unique, as you are. Some runners here will find running Week 9 as easy as running Week 1, some, (hopefully not) , but maybe, the reverse; some, after graduation will choose to go on to 10K, Half Marathons and beyond.

I want to exercise but... Shin Splints
Well it's a no brainer to say that since I want to be able to for my own health and
fitness
and to hopefully return to my old self. I would need to lose around 22kg to do that and I simply do not see a way to achieve that without implementing some sort of running.

Well I didn’t expect that!
I’ve been saying for years I run to maintain

I'm BACK! - On my Toes again!
(This build up was necessary to achilles issues and generally lack of
fitness
). I did it - with only 2 rest days .... but it was exhausting and I need to ease up in October. But - I definately felt some health benefits, and my legs look better and I lost a tiny bit of weight...

post ablation swimming in the sea.
I dont really swim but do exercises to help with my
fitness
. My knees are shot from years of athletics and team sports but I know how important it is to keep moving. I do yoga as well but I'm not sure how long to wait until I resume these activities.

It used to be like this because of
fitness
but haven’t been able to exercise for a long time. I’m waiting up with back pain/sore kidneys. Blood tests are normal however. Has anyone else experienced this?

CATCH- up-CORNER... JANUARY WEEK 4.... PLEASE, Come on in... take a breather. Everyone is Welcome.
This measures energy efficiency and overall
fitness
. Our heart rate is affected by the way we breathe, physically and weirdly, emotionally too. Now there is a heck of a lot that has been written about breathing and running and we do have to make our own choices and do what is right for us.
