Rectal fissure - healed!
I'm not sure if this is the correct group to post in as I do not have IBS, however for 10+ years, I had a rectal fissure that just wouldn’t go away. I live in the Caribbean, have a healthy lifestyle and diet. Years ago, when first diagnosed with the fissure, I was prescribed Lidoprocto suppositories

Does anyone else have this ? Starts off normal in the mornings & than becomes just fluid with cramping. Ok in the afternoon & early evening & then feel I need to go again & constipated. Drives me mad. Also when constipated my nose runs like a tap. If I am going out have to use Buscopan & Loperamide

my doctor has advised I take this daily but I’m worried they will lose their effect over time and stop working. Does anyone else take Imodium daily and if so has this happened?

High stress and 1st freezing episode?
I was in a very acute emotionally distressing state, and then played pickelball . I’m 2 years into a PD Dx, only on rasagiline and very close to finding my B1 sweet spot, between 100-200 mg. Oral B1. My movement has been improved with B1 after 7 weeks! While going for a ball in pickelball, both my

Bisacodyl
Taken Senna, Fybogel and Laxido and haven’t had any bowel movements. I’ve seen people say to take Bisacodyl as this is quite strong. What are people’s experiences with this? Does it work? When is the best time to take it?

Trigger warning. MMC - need support
I am feeling in total shock and devastated today. I had a failed fresh transfer and then a successful natural FET in Sept. I had a perfect viability scan at 6+6 and another reassurance scan at 9+2. Everything was perfect. Growth on point and heartbeat strong. My symptoms lessened and I got backache

Should I have a dental implant or bridge ?
I have PV (JAK2 Positive) my disease is very well controlled on 45mcgs of peginterferon alpha-2A every 8weeks. I wondered if anyone knows if it is safe for people with PV to have the more invasive dental implant than have a bridge fitted thinking of the risk of bacterial endocarditis? Thank you

Help with steroid induced hyperglycaemia
My story is in my bio as it’s rather long! Is there anyone out there managing Steroid Induced Hyperglycaemia? As I started on 70mg and had to stay on it for 6 weeks after diagnosis, I quickly developed SIH and have found it a daily battle to control it despite being on a very low Carb diet indeed! Diabetic

Feeling a bit like a train wreck !!
Hi everyone, so just a quick one. Wonder if anyone else feels a bit like me ?? I'm really struggling to get motivated at the moment. It's not helping when it's dark, cold and wet in the evenings. I love running, but time with everything (work, homelife, general everything life) is just flying by

Donepezil as an aid for PSP
Hi all you good people, A couple of weeks ago a fellow traveller here wrote about her husband with PSP that as his cognition and swallowing declined, his Doctor prescribed Donepezil. Originally, he was on 10 mg of Donepezil which improved his swallowing, alertness and cognition. Two years later when

Update after cardiac catheterization.
First a BIG THANK YOU for all the advice and support. I felt you with me every step of the way. The catheterization showed no narrowing of the major cardiac arteries. But head cardiologist came and said all my symptoms were classic heart attack and clearly something was blocked...so i have a bucket

advice on bisoporol
Does anyone else get memory problems from bisoporol, I was fine on it but this past 4/5 months I’m having really bad memory problems and bouts of tearfulness and it’s very upsetting. Is there and alternative beta blocker that does not affect memory or would calcium channel blockers be better and what
