Fibro symptom

My balance and co ordination is terrible constantly tripping falling over I have to use brace on ankle to surgery to repair broken leg failed and I suffered 90 percent nerve damage and have little feeling or movement. Recently started on pregabline for fibro pain I also get terrible back ache I have found out through MRI scan I have straightening cervical lordosis and problems with c3-c6 discs some days I feel almost like I'm drunk I put that down to the medication I am for this awful illness. At times everything is so overwhelming before becoming sick I studied for years at university and the working in intensive care unit and now half of the time I barely know what day it is. Does anyone else feel like this ? Gentle hugs to you all

Oh sweetie my heart goes out to you. Unfortunately many of us are like that. Its yet another thing to grind us down, with this fibro, as if the pain isn't enough. I have been on that medication and it can make you very zombiefied. (Don't think that's a real word🤭) Many people come off it for that reason. Perhaps have a discussion with your GP.

I don't have the back problems like you do but I do know they can be horrific on there own. Having a husband, son and friend with back problems.

I have learnt to do everything in slow motion otherwise I don't know where I am and fall in stumble. Even doing that I sometimes want to walk straight and find myself verging off to either the left or right, infact anywhere but the direction I want to go.
