Does regular exercise help incomplete evacuation?
I am so fed up with this problem. I have to go to the loo at least 5 or 6 times most days - the motions are usually quite soft but I have to strain to pass them and always feels like I haven`t finished. It`s been particularly bad lately and I`m wondering if it`s because I haven`t been getting much

Beautiful morning for a celebratory Parkrun
It was the 600th at Woodhouse Moor in Leeds, so luckily it wasn’t cancelled! Cold and crisp, a light dusting of snow but no ice. Pacers were cancelled to help people just go out and enjoy a gentle run, given the conditions. Coffee and cake after. And... bizarrely, I ran a PB! 2.5 mins quicker than my

Parkrun Pain
Today was a paced event at our local Parkrun in Navan. My 9 year old Son Oisin and I were up early and looking forward to running on a gorgeous gin clear frosty morning. We were on a mission for a PB. Oisin got a sub 30 min time last weekend and I wanted to join him. We were going to follow Derek whom

Selected items from the NHS England long term plan Part 7
The long term plan wants to empower patients. One way of doing this to enable better digital integration. Note that the longtrem plan enables patients to add data that they chose to the record. Hopefully, this should end the uncertainty regarding private test results because patients can add information

INJURY - W3R3
I am GUTTED. So at the start of my run my ankle was a bit stiff and painful but the warm up sorted it out (it does this often and I just have to walk it off), I finished my run and it was fine... I sat in the car for about 15 mins (someone else was driving) and after trying to walk I was in a lot of

Day 21 of no smoking.......
Well I've made it to day 21, 3 weeks of no smoking and still doing great. Loving the Champix and the weird dreams, no cravings, no cough, a little less energy than last week but so far so good. Hubby still smoking but I don't notice it. He's definitely cut down. Bit concerned I won't want to come off

Endo fatigue and jetlag
Hi ladies, Fatigue is probably my worst endo symptom. For the last few weeks, it's been particularly bad and I've struggled to shake it off. In a month, I'll be required to go to the U.S for work. I'll be flying to the east coast on the Monday and back to London on the Thursday evening (landing on Friday

Hi everyone newbie looking for advice
Hello everyone I have been suffering from IBS for around 25 years and I can honestly say it rules my life .. I have as a result become a very anxious person and I have succumbed to agoraphobia because travelling is so stressful I prefer to stay close to home 😑 It’s like a vicious circle as I feel scared

Mood swings?!?
I have severe mood swing like by morning I’m fine and dancing around having full convocations and midday I’m crying in my bed wanting to die or crying for no reason this goes on everyday and people have began to notice. My psychologist says that mood stabilisers might be a option if this carry’s on I

I Graduated from C25K 19 months or so ago. At times since I have struggled with a back injury and have tried to keep running when I was feeling better and off the injury couch. The one thing which kept me motivated when trying to get into running again was this forum. It’s an amazing community, so thank

Oh Noooo! Sympathy and suggestions please.
I’m due to have a colonoscopy on Tuesday and am not looking forward to the prep for it. Yesterday I had an incredibly swollen stomach: 6 month preggers size. I had a suspicion what might happen. As the evening went on I was uncontrollably dribbling watery poo, which has never happened before. Yay for

Had my ablation!!!
I am home safe and sound and so pleased I was brave enough to go through with it! I even prayed the night before that we would get snowed in. The whole procedure was calm and I was really well sedated, the only thing I felt was the brain freeze which lasted for seconds. My chest and throat are a bit

Retrieval Day
Today is the day my husband goes for his sperm retrieval and I am a nervous wreck!! I can't be there with him today as i have an important exam with work, which I'm absolutely gutted about! He's had a 2 and half hour journey got his op. How to I stop this sick feeling?! It's torture.

Your multivitamins and brain-boosting pills may be suspect, and regulators are cracking down on the $40 billion industry
Vitamins are supposed to be good for you. But if recent research is any indication, the pricey pills and powders may offer more of a health risk than a nutritional boost. The FDA aims to quickly alert the public to avoid buying products that may contain supplements with unlawful or potentially dangerous

Spring once more
A pale blue sky , showers , wind and yet the signs of spring are all around in Devon. The banks are awash with snow drops , wild daffodils toss and sway in the wind and yet remain defiant against the elements . Since my wife died everything has changed yet nothing has changed . Is that a paradox

Weak muscles and keep pulling them
I take 3 NDT a day and I am a 61 year old female. I have noticed over the last couple of years that I am getting weaker but it is really bothering me now. I walk twice a day and am active throughout the day and have been having problems with a recurring groin pull. A couple of months ago I kept pulling
