Dumbfounded with Cirrhosis Diagnosis
Fibroscan of 23.6 (F4
Fibrosis
= 18.6) as you all know). Ultrasound showed mild course nature (NOT enlarged liver). So get this!!! NO OTHER SYMPTOM at all NOTHING, Had my endoscopy 07/12/22, totally clear NOTHING no varices at all.

Questions I should ask my doctor on first visit after diagnosis.
I have recently been diagnosed with severe
fibrosis
(F3). I am obese (5’7”-246lbs) and have begun a weight loss diet and am hoping to gain more information in better treating my condition.

Hi all, I've been taking co enzyme q10, omega 3, and pregnacare supplements. I had EC today and just wondering do I now stop taking the Co enzyme q10 and omega 3?? Or should I carry on until embryo transfer....or even keep taking them during the 2ww? Thanks x

Hi everyone, I have had 2 successful pregnancies in the past and have 2 beautiful boys from these. Pneumonia Recovery
Most of the consultants and nurses have remarked on his progress and amazing recovery so far, but one consultant today suggested that he could end up with long-term lung damage/
fibrosis
. She told him he was lucky to escape death and when he responded that "he wasnt going to die now though?"

Enlarged Spleen
But just briefly, I was diagnosed with Cirrhosis stage 4
fibrosis
February 2022. I have large varices both in my stomach and esophagus for which I was prescribed carvedilol. I also have Portal hypertension with an enlarged spleen currently 15.5 cm.

Laparoscopy and transfer, to downregulate or not?
I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo after a laparoscopy and they removed all apart from one near my bowel. I have low amh. I have my last cycle in a week and the doctor is suggesting a fresh transfer instead of down regulation. I am so confused on what to do and whether to have a double embryo transfer

Have I got IBS?
I’ve had a CT scan, colonoscopy and endoscopy all of which were clear ( CT scan picked up some scarring on my lungs, awaiting further tests regarding pulmonary
fibrosis
). Biopsies taken and awaiting results. I’m searching for answers as my GP won’t comment until biopsy results are back.

After RP who goes over Pathology?
All other surgical margins are negative for tumor.Uninvolved prostate with areas of dense
fibrosis
and hemosiderin-laden macrophage infiltration, consistent with areas of tumor regression. Eight lymph nodes are negative for metastatic carcinoma (0/8).

Can Hydrea Resolve (fix) Marrow?
"B" has the dark stringy things (the fibers of high
fibrosis
grade), In "D" the strings are all gone (
fibrosis
of 0) after HU therapy. Cellularity also resolved (Figs A and C) but those images are harder to figure for us non-experts.

Hi lovely endo warriors. I had a laparoscopy 4 weeks ago. Yesterday my consultant called me and we had a 30 minute conversation (I had to pinch myself as that has never happened before?) 😵 Anyway he explained everything he found in detail and went through all my options. Because of the extent of my

Very new and very confused
Hi there. Hubby has been a drinker for years and it appears that it has all caught up with him. He had his 5 year MOT back in August and was prescribed Folate, B12 compound and Thiamine but no info was given during his telephone consultation. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed his eyes were a bit yellowy

Alcohol related brain injury
She has
fibrosis
of the liver but her fibro scan suggested it was F3 stage. She is 79 years old. Her consultant called me yesterday to say he believes she has alcohol related brain injury, I assume wet brain or Korsakoff syndrome but he didnt give it a name.
