Good and bad news

well after 19 months of abstinence from Alchohol combined with eating healthy and exercise my Kpa has gone from 9.3 to 4.3 showing no fibrosis after being told originally that I had cirrhosis so that’s a massive relief and hopefully an incentive for anyone in the same position that I was in . So I’ve still been complaining of pain mainly in the upper right , so was sent for a c.t scan which I now have the results diverticular disease, umbilical hernia and a collapsed gall bladder !!! So after all the hard work and gathering info on liver disease I now have a few more illnesses to get acquainted with so if anybody has any info on the above topics I.e what to expect , diet etc I’d be really grateful .

Keep fighting and keep abstinent x

That's really good news, Gives hope to so many of us with Cirrhosis, I was always lead to believe it can't reverse but little miracles really do happen, I'm so happy for you.xx

I've never heard of a collapsed gallbladder before? Do you have symptoms? And diverticulitis is usually diagnosed through colonoscopy

pain in the upper right quadrant which I’ve had for months and constipation which has only just started in last few days . The diverticular disease runs in the family I believe .

The problem with having additional tests is the amount of coincidental "problems" they show up that will probably never cause illness.Your 50+ so" diverticular disease" is very much to be expected, we nearly all get some degree of it as we age.

Umbilical hernia? Is it a problem or is it just another thing seen on the CT that's not causing problems?

I have never heard of a collapsed gall bladder.
