My high cholesterol of 8+ dropped to 5 within 12 months when I quit drinking.
My consultant said that's a direct result of my respecting what I eat and drink as well as my liver function improving and is seen very often.
I want to add an edit though.
Looking at your previous posts it's very unlikely that you have liver disease so having a high cholesterol test does not prove any definate connection with other illnesses.
Most often it's simply solved by sensible lifestyle/diet changes.
