teardrop cells?
Unlike smudge cells, I cannot find that this is normal for CLL but rather for some other diseases related to
fibrosis
and anemia. I'm assuming 1+ means a few but not many? Wondering if anyone else has encountered this, and whether I should report this to my oncologist.

Non invasive testing
with all the different testing that take place, what do people believe is accurate if there Fib4, Apri, NAFLD
Fibrosis
test and Blood tests like elf, Fibrosure, Liverfast. All agree but Fibroscan doesn’t. Who is right? I would say further testing with another imaging.

Update….
Long story short…after several phone calls, the MA of my Hepatologist told me that ‘after further review of my MRI, the Dr now thinks that the
fibrosis
is not as bad as she initially thought’. She cancelled the biopsy and I’m now having a Fibroscan on Monday instead.

NASH progressed
Hi I've had fatty liver disease for many years nowIt progressed to NASH eventually Now on my latest fibroscan it shows 80 percent of fat in my liver (highest ever) And more scarring bringing me out of F4
fibrosis
into suspected Cirrhosis All I can do is wait.

period during two week wait
I am in the two week wait after embryo transfer and I was wondering if anyone could help me - I am absolutely terrified of my period starting of course, as I know how disappointed I’ll be. I’m really worried it will start while I’m at work as I haven’t told colleagues I’m doing it and I think I’ll probably

11 dpt test too soon?
Today is day 11 following my embryo transfer where I had 2 embryos transferred that hadn’t quite made it to blastocyst stage. I was surprised when my clinic set today as my test date as previously they’ve advised to test on day 13/14. This is my 3rd ivf cycle and I’ve been feeling really optimistic

Does tibilone get better?
Hello everyone, I've just finished a 6 month course of prostap with no add back hrt. I had a pretty rough time on prostap alone, apparently I was supposed to be prescribed hrt alongside but never was, and in order to carry on my consultant has now added in tibilone. I thought the prostap was bad but

Buserelin and exhaustion!
Hi everyone, just started on my first cycle of IVF with ICSI. On day 9 of buserelin injections (although I took the wrong dose for the first 3 days - not enough) and experiencing incredible exhaustion. Have had early nights all week and went to bed last night at 7:30 so had nearly 12 hours sleep! I know

I have liver cirrhosis and don't drink with a husband who drinks heavily.
Had to go private to GP to get seen 2024 and following private tests bloods, fibro scan and echocardiogram it shows extensive
fibrosis
and cirrhosis in left lobe and infiltration to pancreas also. Going privately in two weeks to see specialist to see what is the next step.

Feeling low after consultant meeting following laoaroscopy
I have a long history of pelvic pain. I had a laparoscopy in August and no Endo was found but they did say I have a globular uterus, which is probably caused by Adenomyosis. I wasn't surprised, as I have all the symptoms. I met with the consultant and he did play my symptoms down. He said that the globular

Adenomyosis and IVF
Hi everyone, I have been diagnosed with mild Adenomyosis. I have read that people with Adeno don’t have a chance with successful pregnancies. I will be grateful if you can share some success stories with Adenomyosis and what your clinic did differently. Thank you x

blood cells
People with higher Red cells , Hematocrit, Hemoglobin can that cause liver
fibrosis
. I know people can have secondary polycthemia due to sleep apnea. And there is also polycythemia Vera just seeing if that could be a issue as well.
