People with higher Red cells , Hematocrit, Hemoglobin can that cause liver fibrosis . I know people can have secondary polycthemia due to sleep apnea. And there is also polycythemia Vera just seeing if that could be a issue as well.

Overproduction of red blood cells is a rare condition and can become serious. It is often treated by giving blood from time to time to keep the levels where they should be. Probably not a cause but certainly can be a symptom though the interactions are complex.
