I am in the two week wait after embryo transfer and I was wondering if anyone could help me - I am absolutely terrified of my period starting of course, as I know how disappointed I’ll be. I’m really worried it will start while I’m at work as I haven’t told colleagues I’m doing it and I think I’ll probably lose it… Anyway, I was wondering- is it likely my period will start? Or is it generally delayed anyway because of medication? I’m only doing cyclogest pessarys, no other meds. (I’m assuming my transfer is not successful, I hope it is but I am not feeling very positive!). Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you!

from my own experience- meds usually delay the bleed. But everyone is different.
Just wanted to wish you the best of luck, don’t lose hope- you should assume it worked until you’ve proven otherwise.
I was 200% sure my last transfer did not work, felt that my period was about to start any moment. But it worked. So don’t count yourself out. Good luck!
Hi, The meds should delay your period. Even if your cycle is negative (fingers crossed it isn't!) you should know that and stop your meds a couple of days before you bleed. However unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way. My experience is that if you do get your period during the tww it starts slowly. At first it might just be some spotting - which could easily be implantation so it is not a clear sign of any result. Only after a day or two of spotting do you know whether the spotting will stop or whether it will continue to your period. I've had both scenarios. So if you do get spotting you should know your period is a possibility and be able to make arrangements not to be somewhere you feel vulnerable. Hope that helps, and good luck! xx
