Hi everyone,

I have been diagnosed with mild Adenomyosis. I have read that people with Adeno don’t have a chance with successful pregnancies.

I will be grateful if you can share some success stories with Adenomyosis and what your clinic did differently.

Thank you x

Hi Shwet. Ye, I’m sure you will hear from some others who have been successful I hope you don’t, but if you ever need surgery on your lining, make sure it is a specialist who deals with adenomyosis. Good luck. Diane

Hi,I have mild adenomyosis and have a 5 week old, so it is possible. My clinic put me on a mock cycle before transfer and a short 1 month down reg. The down reg bit is important.

Good luck

X

Thank you. What is a mock cycle?

Mine was donor, so the mock cycle was all the drugs needed for transfer taken the month before.

Thank you so much for your response. Is there anything else that the clinic suggested?

Not specifically but research I’ve done suggests an anti inflammatory diet and particularly cutting out caffeine can help which I did last time and am trying again this time x

I forgot about that bit. I cut out all sugar for a month before the transfer date and up to the positive result. This included bread, pasta and potatoes.

hi I have quite severe adeno a large focal lesion at the fundus of my uterus and scattered patches throughout my uterus. It is possible I have a 20 month old son and a 5 month old daughter. I had zoladex beforehand and down regged with buseraline. I conceived both mine naturally after a failed fresh transfer, then a cancelled cycle during stims and then after egg collection and waiting for a frozen transfer I conceived my first miracle and I believe the zoladex, down regs and stims all had their part to play. I then conceived my second miracle when my first was 6 months old I believe I was lucky enough to still fertile enough from my first. I also ate a very protein based diet lots of fish and green vegetables changed to decaffeinated tea, took up yoga. I wish you all the best. X
