Update - pinning all our hopes on one embryo
Thanks for all your well wishes. We started with 5 eggs, which dwindled down to 2 embryos by day 3. As you know, we requested for a day 3 single embryo transfer against clinic advice. Well, it looks like my remaining embryo did not make it to blastocyst. We just got the call. My clinic feels that

Can LFT tests me normal with fibrosis of the liver?
So my question: can LFTs be normal with
fibrosis
? I'm really scared - my Mum had PBC, diagnosed at an advanced stage, from which she died a decade ago. Any experience or words of wisdom, I'd be really grateful.

I’m finding it hard to cope with my partner’s reaction to his diagnosis of cirrhosis ☹️
After having blood tests, gastroscopy, CT scan and fibroscan, my partner has been told he has cirrhosis with advanced
fibrosis
(no scores given). He has an enlarged liver and spleen, portal hypertensive gastropathy and some fluid in his stomach - no varices yet.

Stage 4 endo really sucks!!!!
Moreover, there's concerning involvement of the left ureter and bowel, accompanied by extensive
fibrosis
and distortion in the posterior pelvis, indicative of endometriosis. The frustration mounts as I await surgery through the NHS, enduring my third course of Zoladex in the meantime.

Possible phlebitis on birth control worried
I've been on birth control for about 10 years....I chose to go on it, as I had the most crippling anxiety and it took a while to figure it was my hormones causing it.After a few years, I started having very heavy periods with clots, and I was given a hysteroscopy. They only found that my womb was slightly

Septate Uterus experiences
Has anybody on here had a hysteroscopy to sort out a septate uterus? Should be getting mine sorted with the wonderful team at Tommy's in London (they think I have a slight one that could be causing my issues), but she said something about putting coils in to help with the healing process for like 3 months

FET For Number 2
Currently gearing up for another FET for a potential sibling 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. I feel soo out the IVF loop, I last had treatment Aug 2020. Any FET tips? I briefly remember pom juice, Brazil nuts & Vit E before transfer. But if anyone else has any pearls of wisdom I'd love to hear them. And any cycle

At this point in life I had a biopsy and found out I was already stage 2-3
fibrosis
. Jumping forward ten years later I am now at the last stage and officially at cirrhosis. I have many symptoms now caused by the cirrhosis.

Spirometry non-obstructive, CT shows scarring but no fibrosis/legions/bronchiectasis so what’s wrong???
I’m assuming that the scarring is minor as there is no
fibrosis
. BTW I’m a 40 y o female if that’s relevant.

Choosing medication for PV/early MF
Hi Guys, I was diagnosed with PV in January and a BMB showed I have stage 1
Fibrosis
on the bone marrow so I have been diagnosed with PV/early MF. My spleen is enlarged but up until very recently my bloods were normal. Now my hematocrit has risen slightly.

Fibroscan update
I asked the nurse if I still had
fibrosis
and she wasn't able to say. She also couldn't say if I had fatty liver still, but just said to enjoy the results and stay on track. I can't help but worry it's still fibrotic.

End of Resus Trial
Fibrosis
stage 3/4 verging on Cirrhosis... The trial drugs I was on ( whether placebo or the actual drug) were meant to stop any more scaring..So in reality my liver hasn't got any worse. . But mentality wise I was thinking/hoping it would have repaired itself more. .
