Possible phlebitis on birth control worried

I've been on birth control for about 10 years....I chose to go on it, as I had the most crippling anxiety and it took a while to figure it was my hormones causing it.After a few years, I started having very heavy periods with clots, and I was given a hysteroscopy. They only found that my womb was slightly bulky.

I have pcos too and I am overweight

Yesterday my calf felt a little tender and I can see 2 red marks. It feels firm where the larger mark is. I've had phlebitis before, in my arm after my hysteroscopy from a canula.

Now I'm reading that if you have phlebitis, you should come off the combined pill.

This has always terrified me...as I need my hormones to be stable...I can't go back to how I was feeling 10 years ago.

I was never told why my hormones suddenly went haywire when they did. I thought having the heavy periods a couple of years later, would've answered my question.

The doc did say it could either be fibroids or adenomyosis.

But as I take the pill continuously, I have no idea what my periods are like now

I am really worried right now
