End of Resus Trial

Hi all, The 6mth Resus Trial I was on finished in November and I was awaiting my results.. Bit gutted really. . After having 2 biopsies and 2 MRI scans the results have stayed the same. NAFLD. Fibrosis stage 3/4 verging on Cirrhosis... The trial drugs I was on ( whether placebo or the actual drug) were meant to stop any more scaring..So in reality my liver hasn't got any worse. . But mentality wise I was thinking/hoping it would have repaired itself more. . One good thing is my LFT bloods have gone from 121 to 58... So onwards and upwards. . The trial ends in January and all the results from everyone that as taken part will be studied and fingers crossed if it has worked, and its another step forward to help the liver. Merry Christmas to you all .. 🎄 x
