Guy's hospital for fertility treatments. Any experience ?
Hello everyone, I'm looking for feedback and experience with
fertility
treatments at the Guy's hospital in London. Either via NHS or private. Would you recommend it? Thanks ❤️

stage 4 endo; failed ivf and clomid
I’m assuming
fertility
consultant went straight to ivf before trying this option due to extent of endometriosis but just wondered if they might consider this just to increase my chances

IVF and raised TSH - should I be concerned?
A week later, another test at my
fertility
clinic showed it was 2.9. I started taking 25mcg of levothyroxine last summer when my TSH was just over 4. I had to really fight for that as the GP insisted it was unnecessary. But it worked and dropped to below 2 within a few months.

Exercise and infertility
Hi everyone, The arrival of another period has sent me into another frenzy of Googling and questioning absolutely everything I'm doing. My period was a couple of days late and stupidly allowed myself to hope that it had finally happened 😞 So this mornings panic is - am I doing too much exercise,

Ttc’ing for a year
They have referred me to a
fertility
specialist. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me their experience and what to expect. I took letrozole three months with no results. I have a high ovarian reserve. They tested my hormones and said they were fine but, that’s another story.

Conflicting Advice from Surgeons!
Over the past year, I have received conflicting advice from two consultants -- the first said I needed surgery imminently to protect my
fertility
and relieve pain -- the other told me that everything was completely normal (despite an MRI report that said I had deep infiltrating endo on my bowel) and

Struggling to stay focused in work
I work from home most of the time and just losing focus in between meetings and end up on Google doing IVF research and listening to
fertility
related podcasts and vlogs.

Down regulation - blood test?
My first question is does your
fertility
clinic do blood test in addition to the scan, before you start taking the stims meds? When I asked my
fertility
clinic about the blood test, their answer was very vague. I dont think they will do the blood test which makes me very nervous.

IVF - After a Miscarriage
Since, I’ve been referred for IVF and in parallel I am trying to get a referral to a Lupus In Pregnancy clinic so both the
fertility
and lupus clinic that specialises in pregnancy can help build a plan for me. Has anyone been through lupus pregnancy with IVF? Or even miscarriages?

Buying IVF medication privately
We are about to undergo our second round of IVF and, as we are using Access
Fertility
this time, wanted to look into whether buying meds ourselves (rather than from the clinic) might work out cheaper. So my questions are… - Where did you buy your meds from/get quotes from?

Unexplained fertility and recurrent failed implantation
We have been trying for a baby for 5 years. I have had two rounds of IVF and 7 transfers. One was successful but ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks. My embryos have all been high graded. I have 1 embryo left in the freezer, can anyone recommend any advice or anything to increase my chances of this last

weight issues
Do you guys think if I say to the
fertility
specialist that I have lost inches but not weight i.e my day has became muscle. my question is would they go ahead with my IFV treatment or they are really strict.

PGT-A Testing
While I'm researching online, even the HFEA website says "to date there is little evidence showing it improves the chances of having a baby for most
fertility
patients". What is the best source of information about testing?

Anyone had fertility referral appointment?
I did all the GP
fertility
tests and was referred to
fertility
clinic around 4 months ago. Today I received a message saying we have our first appointment on TUESDAY, and I was surprised at how unprepared I felt.

completely numb and don’t know what to do - heartbeat stopped
If you have the pill or surgery how long do you have to wait for a transfer and do they have long term implications on an already poor
fertility
situation? Is waiting and hoping it happens naturally better? Or is it likely I’d end up needing medical management anyway?

ubiquinone vs ubiquinol
I have just realised my Coq10 I’ve been taking for three months is ubiquinone form. I just thought I was taking ubiquinol 😫 Been doing 300mg twice a day. I’m worried I’ve missed a trick now. I’ve ordered some ubiquinol now but I’m starting downreg in about three weeks. Thoughts please lovely people
