Fertility

If l go for a fertility test at a private clinic do l need to come off the pill before or does it not matter? I know we would need fertility support lvf but at my age does that now mean l wont be able to use my own eggs? Thank you

I have had a couple of AMH tests done recently, the first just through a Fertility test to have my irregular bleeding investigated and was shock to realise that I had low amh. My most recent one came back as 0.86 pmol/l and I am at a bit of a loss at 26 as to what to do and what this means for me.

What happened: Because of the fact that I want to look for IVF treatment soon, I've contacted a private gynaecologist who specialises in fertility treatment to discuss and ask questions (she is based in my home country).

My new clinic are mainly private fertility specialists whereas my old clinic did have working obstetricians who I suspect had more experience with managing APS in actual pregnancy. I don’t want to risk bleeding but equally don’t want to be under treated.

Last year we went for fertility testing privately as the gp really didn’t seem to care and said come back in 5 months once I’ve lost a few pounds ( I am a very fit person I walk at least an hour a day and have horses so I’m out 2x day every day but my bmi is over by 0.5 so I’m to fat basically his words

1 - What tests do you recommend for before/during IVF? 2 - What tests do you recommend after miscarriage? 3 - Any clinics globally you recommend for testing? (Based in the UK. Travel to Europe is ideal) Tests completed so far (Jun 2024): - Full blood count - APS screening - Laproscopy and dye test

I ordered a script for birth control I'm scared of getting pregnant again when I'm not ready but also of having fertility issues So I don't know what's going to happen next.

I’ve tried Zen, Fertility Medication Centre, The Fertility Centre, NVS in London. I’m just awaiting response from fertility 2U. Any help is appreciated xxxxx

I had thyroid tested pre and during pregnancy as through fertility testing I’d found elevated antibodies (medichecks) and T4 and TSH always came back normal. Recent results attached. If anyone has any advice for what I should ask my doctor in follow up appointment that would be helpful please.

Im a 37 yo female Who sadly had an early miscarriage at 36.75 Hertility health = amazing For hormone ans fertility testing... Highly recommend 150 gbp very well spent. They test so many things including amh.

In my area I was told that i could not receive fertility treatment because my partners bmi was still too high. I was under the impresssion that anyone diagnosed with something like pcos or endometriosis was automatically eligible for fertility treatment regardless of partners health?

Just wondered if anyone had used Aria fertility clinic in London at all? If so, please could you DM me on how you found them? I’m looking for a private clinic in London, and currently looking at them as an option, but would love to hear directly from anyone who has used them. Thanks x

I am fortunate that I don’t have any apparent fertility complications. I am anxious that that may not be the case when they do these first 2 tests or that by doing them the disrupt my womb and cause complications.

My partner and I would like advice on getting started with fertility tests and consultations. I am 45 and he is 44.

Does anyone know how or where to go about organising Chicago fertility tests? I’m 7 years deep into unexaplained infertility. I have 1 son from a fresh transfer and have had 3 other failed transfers. 7 years of trying naturally and never once been pregnant.
