Coping with fibroids
Any suggestions with pain management which doesn’t effect
fertility
? I use paracetamol (rarely, if pain makes moving impossible) and hot water bottles/heat pads ALL the time.

IVF round 2..... 4 years on!
I have been taking all my supplements and trying to eat those
fertility
friendly foods but I have to say, I am finding it hard to really be as prepped as I was last time.

Advice about getting signed off from work?
One week was annual leave and the other two were
fertility
leave. (My work allows 2 weeks off in a 12 month period which I know not everyone has and I was so grateful for it.) However, I'm now approaching the start of attempt 2 (end of May).

Fertility drugs
Hi, my friend is about to start her first IVF cycle and I recommended Stork
Fertility
and Asda Pharmacy to source drugs at better price however it turns out Stork only supply clinics now. Are there any other options?

My husband wants to end our fertility journey
Hi all, I’ve been on my journey for almost 7 years. Initially my husband and I were tagged as having unexplained infertility, through ICSI, 3 egg collections we transferred 7 embryos and suffered 3 miscarriages. Last year my husband found out that he has a balanced translocation of two of his chromosomes

Cancer Care Cyropreservation
They said this meant that I was requesting it as an individual and therefore I was considered as medically ‘single’ with no medical grounds for requiring
fertility
healthcare. Obviously, that flies in the face of all common sense.

To be or not to be (a mom)
I am in the age where the
fertility
just begins to drop. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 2 years ago, and since then have been on modern medication to control the Grave's disease.

Am I entitled to NHS funding for fertility treatment if I’m a non uk citizen?
Hi
fertility
friends My husband and I are moving to England as he had accepted a job as a surgeon at a hospital there. I completed one fresh cycle and one FET here in South Africa with no success and would like to continue treatment when I move.

Can Mirena work if desogestrel doesn’t?
As I’ve had 3 kids in the last 10 years with no
fertility
issues I don’t think I’m taken very seriously. My mum also had 3 kids and still ended up having an ovary and Fallopian tube removed due to endometriosis when she had her laparoscopy in her 40’s.

Recommendations on Fertility/IVF clinics in the South East (mainly Kent), please?
Could someone recommend
fertility
clinics mainly in Kent area, but South East would be great too. I am struggling with low AMH and high FSH, husband: sperm morphology border line OK. Many thanks!

Follow-up post lap appointment
Feeling very upset and confused as he told me it can reduce
fertility
. He said the only way to treat it is hysterectomy or controlling symptoms (as well as endo symptoms) using the pill or ironically getting pregnant! Has anyone else been diagnosed with this?

Inspiration, hopeful stories and what to do next
They're linked to the hospital and say they have a surgical team to deal with
fertility
issues, so is it worth asking what they'd do about my Endometriosis and Fibroids? My gynae specialist openly says he's not a
fertility
expert, which is fine.

Flying with subchorionic Hematoma?
So I figured to post this here instead of the other
fertility
forum to not upset anyone. I have been discharged from my IVF clinic 2 days ago, I am currently 7+4 but they did see a 2x1x0.7cm bleed (SCH) on the scan 2 days ago.

Looking to support my friend through breast cancer
I used to use the
fertility
network here a lot and found it to be a wealth of knowledge and comfort. My close friend has just been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I want to support her in anyway I can. I guess I'm here for advice and to learn.

Letrozole Questions
I’ve heard that private gynaecologists can prescribe it rather than just
fertility
clinics, anyone know if that’s correct? How does it work? How much does it cost? Did it work for you??

One day at a time!
I am very excited for her but again it has pushed my mind back to my own
fertility
. It really seems to dominate my life. I have a hospital appointment next week but I’m not really sure what it’s for… I think it’s probably to start analogue injections prior to my surgery date in October.
