Is our fertility clinic experience usual?
Hi! Since starting in November, there has been an element of us always having to chase up results, chase up requests for phone appointments with the doctors etc.. We get there in the end...but I suppose the ‘care’ factor hasn’t exactly been what I thought. Medical treatment aspect has been fine - but

Please help me understand my results - will this TSH level affect my fertility?
Hello all. I have been on Thyreogland - an NDT comprised of 100mcg t4 and 25mcg t3, for the last 2 years. Recently, the dosage I normally take was not in stock! So I have been taking 125mcg t4 and respectively more t3 (I don't know the exact amount), I realise this was a bit stupid given that I felt

Check your maternity policy
Hi just wanted to say to anyone going though
fertility
treatment. It’s always worth checking your maternity policy at work. I didn’t realise that I was entitled to a weeks paid leave for
fertility
treatment. ( I work for the nhs ) Always worth checking xxx

Some progress - finally!
In relation to my hypothyroidism we have been to see a
fertility
specialist yesterday; discuss next steps and all that. She has mentioned to do anything TSH needs to be in the reference range, I think hers is 2.2 to 5.5 (mine is 13.8).

Fibroids, cysts and polyps :(
Is it likely to affect
fertility
? I also have a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary. Which they said is likely to go on its own within a cycle or two, but I have to go back in 4 months to keep an eye on it. It’s currently just under 5cm. Is this likely to affect my
fertility
?

Shall I go for the laparoscopy? Terrified!
I've been quite anxious about nothing happening so saw a private
fertility
doctor a couple of weeks ago. I had an internal ultra scan. She said I have a 2cm simple cyst on my left ovary and signs of mild endometriosis.

Progesterone day 21 -178 HELP!!!
She advised I needed to pay £200 to get an appointment with the
fertility
doctor to discuss this element and advised me to stop or medication. I asked if there was anything I could take to improve my lining like estrogen or progynova.

Second Failed IVF Round - Endo & PCOS
My
fertility
doctor did say that frozen embryo transfers are more successful than fresh as you aren't having the additional hormones and treatment within the same month.

Advise please 🥺
My
fertility
doctor told me that it’s just my eggs and I should consider a donor. That kind of hurt as it feels now it was my fault. Maybe it was something else? I suppose I’m just wanting to know if anyone could help me on ways to improve my egg quality?

A personal blog from me..
It’s still my self-therapy but I also want it to be a place for others to feel a little less alone through their own
fertility
journeys. I’ll continue to write about my experience, both past and present with new blogs every so often.

Fertility clinic consultation
I am due to have a telephone consultation with the
fertility
clinic in 2 weeks. This is the first appointment since we were referred. Is there anything that you think I should write down to ask when we speak to the Dr? Any advice would be appreciated.

Fertility Port in Prague - Any experiences?
I am very impressed with the whole process so far and I think we may decide to go for a dual stimulation package with
Fertility
Port - 2 stimulation rounds in 1 cycle because I have low ovarian reserve (age 38, AMH is 3.2pmol/l).

Has anyone got experience of private fertility clinics in south Wales?
Has anyone got any experience of private
fertility
clinics in south Wales? Which would you recommend? We've been very impressed with the NHS Wales
Fertility
Institute but our NHS provision has come to an end and they have a 15 months waiting list for private patients. Many thanks.

Advice Please - What would you do? Bowel resection or Shave?
I got the impression my consultant did not want to go down the resection route since it can cause complications and affect
fertility
, bowel movements and possibility of a stoma etc. But I’m not sure I can keep dealing with this?
