Infertility with IV Endo & Ando

I’m 39 been trying for a baby for 6yrs, undergone 6xIUIs, various IVFs inc 4xEC with transfers, 6xFETs with mine & wife’s embryos. 2x early pregnancy losses, one cervical ectopic. Then diagnosed IV Endo/Ando by MRI Feb2023. Tired down reg with Prostap followed by transfer.

Due Llaproscopy, told will remove superficial endo, would this help increase chance of embryo implantation? Without removal of deep infiltrating endo on bowel? Wait list for this surgery is longer and trying to discover what’s best to aid fertility.

Thank you 🙏

Hi Amelia , You've been through so much! I admire your courage. I and a laparoscopy pre IVF and they said my ovaries were quite hidden and adhered to my uterus. This would have been too difficult to reach during the egg collection process so it was vitali had the surgery. But maybe you already have done your egg collection. They weren't able to do anything with the adeno because it's through the womb. I wish you the best of luck with the next cycle. X

Hello, thank you for your response, it's much appreciated. Yes it hasn't been the best, but still have the determination (though feel it is now beginning to fading). I think my right ovary may now be similar to yours, as on my last EC could not see on a scan nor access to retrieve my eggs. I'm hoping they can remove some of the endo and in turn help my uterus, making it more susceptible for the embryos to stick. Did you have success after your laparoscopy? I hope so. Thank you for the luck x

I'm so glad to hear you have this determination. It's really such a difficult process, you are being so strong! They should be able to help free your ovary and definitely do what they can to prepare your womb. I really am sending you all the best of luck 💕. I don't know what you've been through but I can relate . I was really lucky, we have a 1 year old girl after our first try at IVF. We really didn't have much hope so she is a blessing. I'm going for a hysterectomy next month. Super nervous about that, but I need to get better for my little girl. Xxxx

Thank you, your kind words mean a lot. I’ve always been so strong and kept going but after all the determination and years that have passed it’s becoming a new difficult. So thank you.

Im so glad to hear it worked on your first IVF and you have your little girl. I hope your hysterectomy goes well and I am sure it will give you a new lease of life. Stay strong, some nerves are good, be kind to yourself x
