Hi guys , hoping you can answer this one. As part of my intermittent claudication journey my blood pressure was at 145/90 avg (first reading sometime 150/96)sometimes slightly lower but not much, a few months back I did see it sitting at 126/86 but since then it’s went back up. Ramipril side effects.
I’ve been on 5mg Ramipril for the last three years. Generally I’ve been ok. But I have bouts of rapid heart rate, and I feel out of sorts for most of the time. My latest delivery of meds, was missing the Ramipril, so I’ve been forced to go without for three days. I’m getting a delivery of it tomorrow

Ventricular Tachycardia/Junctional Tachycardia & Ramipril Heart Rate 217 today
Hi Everyone, I've not been on for a long while and so this evening am starting afresh. I've been struggling for a long, long time and am now at my wits end. The only reason someone finally listened is when my brother bought me a Prince 180B. I took a reading with me when I went for a scan (over 3

Side effects with Amlodipine?
I've been on 5mg Amlodipine since I had my aortic valve replaced, by transapical TAVI, 6 weeks ago. The tablets contol my blood pressure perfectly, alongside candesartin (which I've been taking for aound 19 years), and although my general recovery from the op seems fine, I seem to be suffering from

Had Ablation on Wednesday
My flutter ablation seems to have gone well. So glad I had a general anaesthetic, I think I’m still traumatised from the previous “sedation” ablation a few years ago. The EP tells me that I was in flutter when I went into the Cath Lab and was in sinus rhythm when I came out, so that’s good enough for

Amlodipine question
Does anyone know if amlodipine can be taken on an ad hoc need-to basis as opposed to a once-daily therapy? My mom's BP is largely stable on a very low sodium diet, and only spikes if we go off track. Thank you.

Failed too reduce my frusemide
My HF nurse advised me to reduce my fruesmide from 40mg BD to 40mg OD, it was only 24 hrs before I got breathlessness and then air hunger. So I lncreased it back to twice a day. What experience have you all had in reducing medications? They are doing it so they can increase my Ramipril, but my BP is

Pins and needles!
Hi All, has anybody had experience with pins and needles on Ramipril? I am convinced it’s the medication although Doctor says ‘highly unlikely’. She changed me to Losartan, (tingling) however blood pressure steadily increased (daily) so decided to change back to Ramipril... guess what... the pins and

CRP
Hi all, I just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience to this. I have MPA and haven’t been on any meds since April 2019 and have been in remission with regular blood monitoring. However this week my routine bloods shows a CRP of 119 and my kidney function has dropped to 55. (Was about 75). I
