Sudden Tinnitus
I have for the past weeks been experiencing mild to moderate constant Tinnitus. It sounds like low level ringing combined with an intrusive moderate level high pitched sound. I’ve had my hearing checked by a specialist up to 8000hz and she said my hearing was near perfect and it wasn’t being caused

Angina progressively getting worse
Just wondering if others have had similar experiences of Angina symptoms getting worse over 6-12months. Had a stent fitted in main left artery at the end of April20 instead of having a bypass because of Covid. They sent me home with the standard meds and I thought I was fixed, sadly I still got Angina

Ramipril cough.
I started on Ramipril Christmas Eve, just a low dose 1.25mg. The dose increased on the 7th January to 2.5mg, which seems to be helping. Since the increase , have had this cough, which I know is a side effect. Has anyone had it and does it eventually go, without stopping the Ramipril?

Does anyone have silent reflux following the start of medication following a heart attack?
Hi Hearties After a heart attack mid February 2020, I developed silent reflux causing the back of my throat to become sore and affecting my speaking and singing which became croaky. Following advice from a Speech and Language Therapist this has been mainly resolved by me taking a couple of tps of Gavascon

Burning feet and hands and ear problems
I believe I had COVID in April 2020 but was negative by the time I had a test. My TSH and Thyroid perioxidase antibodies are out of normal range and I have high ferritin levels. I have fibromyalgia, osteopaenia and mild arthritis. My concern is I am suffering from episodes of inflammation affecting

Amlodipine and atorvastatin
I was put on these two medications a couple of months ago. I have since experienced breathlessness especially when going upstairs or walking any distance. I am worried and need to contact my GP but has anyone else had this problem with any of these medications

Fatigue and generally feeling low
After my HA in March 2020, I felt I was recovering well - feeling well and exercising regularly. I experienced some ectopic beats in the summer, which were checked via 72 hour monitor and deemed to be harmless - they faded away after a few weeks. Other than that life has been pretty much back

Weight gain causing concern
Since March I have gained 21 lbs and have swollen feet, ankles and knees. Could this be due to taking Diltidium 3 times a day in addition to Ramipril, Moxonodine, Bendroflumethiazide and Atorvastatin? My diet hasn’t changed but I’m not so active now.

CHANGE OF BP MEDICATION - INTERACTION WITH SIMVASTATIN 40MG
As posted previously I was switched from attenolol; to Amlodipine 5mg. However apparently Amlodipine does not interact well with statins 40mg. So the GP has now put me on Lercanidipine 10mg. I post this as info in case anyone has concerns with Amlodipine and Statins being taken together and are

Pain in centre of back with burping after stents fitted over 12 months ago.
I was diagnosed with Angina with symptoms of pain in my back and associated constant burping whilst walking. Previous to this diagnosis the doctors were prescribing gastric resistant tablets. After stents I was no better. 4 months on I had a second Angiogram and they found that I may suffer from vascular

An unplanned experience of withdrawal from Bisoprolol Fumerate!!!
Newby - 84 years old male - very fit and sharp as a tack. 7 years ago out of the blue due to high BP I was informed that I needed a quad heart by-pass. No fear just absolute anger and fury! Kings College performed brilliantly and turned the sequence into what I was able to view as a total non-event.

Feeling a little lost.
I’m new to AF and could really do with a bit of support. I had been unwell for some time. Struggled all year to lose weight but zilch came off. I was getting bigger. End of November I was admitted to A&E unable to breath when lying down and was panting. (Had been getting breathless when walking) Pulse
