Hypertension bp

Hi guys , hoping you can answer this one.

As part of my intermittent claudication journey my blood pressure was at 145/90 avg (first reading sometime 150/96)sometimes slightly lower but not much, a few months back I did see it sitting at 126/86 but since then it’s went back up. Heart rate goes from 60/88 over the course of the day sometimes higher depending on walking etc. Not had a HA and normal ecg was fine.

I really do worry about this, I started on ramipril on October last year and the dose was increased at Christmas to 7.5mg but looks like no affects.

I made the fatal flaw of asking google and it says I could have resistant hypertension (yikes) although that are adding another bp drug to the mix to see.

Oh my bMI was 39 but I’ve lost weight but don’t know what it is now and more active any thoughts joint experience? Does the drugs take longer to work ?
