Pain in chest
Hi. I’m new here and just want to get things off my chest. Ha! I’m 53. On the 13th feb 2021. Had heart attack and stent fitted. All going well for about 3 weeks when I started to get chest pains again. Back to the hospital. A night in revealed heart was ok, sent home. Two week later pain still there,

Unresponsive to medication
Hello. I have just joined and wonder if anyone takes 16mg of doxazocyn. I also take 10mg of ramipril and 5mg of bisoporol. I have some side effects and so far the high bp is not responding. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Which high blood pressure medication does not affect RLS ?
Hi I have just been diagnosed as having high blood pressure and have been given Felodipine as my treatment but have noticed that it seems to be aggravating my RLS. Is there other medication which would be more suitable?

Swollen, bleeding gums on Amlodipine 5mg
Hi All I was given a diagnosis of Coronary Artery Spasm at age 38 in 2019. This diagnosis came from a process of elimination as my Echo, Angiogram and Exercise tolerance test were all normal, only my ECG was abnormal. I was having intermittent neck and jaw pain on my left side and sometimes in my chest

Any advice please?
I am Hypothyroid, on Levothyroxine now for some 10/12 years. I have recently been diagnosed with Hypertension and am taking Ramipril and Lisinopril. I was taking Amlodipine but my ankles swelled so badly and painfully that I had to come off it. My issue however is my really low mood, weepy, totally exhausted

Blood pressure pills- Perinopril v Ramipril which is best?
I was diagnoed with high blood pressure about 15 years ago, I was put on Perindopril 2mgs. Then after a few years it was increased to 4 mgs and then a couple of years ago inc to 8mgs. Last week my doctor decided to change me onto Ramipril. Is it normal to feel anxious on Ramipril? Also it has not recuced

RAMIPRIL
Hi ... I’m a 70 year old, otherwise reasonably fit, 70yr old female. On Saturday afternoon I experienced a heart attack, was treated and came home on Wednesday. I apparently have mild furring of the arteries but no clot was visualised; I had no stents or other invasive treatment and am going to be managed

Dreams
I had my HA about 3 years ago and had a stent fitted. Since then I have been fine, but something that puzzles me is that whilst I sleep well I do seem to dream so much more nowadays! Whether its age catching up with me (83)? Although I am fit and walk 2-3 miles every day, or whether I have always done

8 weeks after HA - my story and encouragement
A lot of people here have posted stories of difficulties and problems and it's sad to hear these and my sympathies to all having a hard time. As a bit of a counterbalance and encouragement I'd like to give my own story which I hope is one to let people know that it all can go well after an HA despite

Take my breath away ... and singing 🎸
Hi, it’s now 7 weeks since Tom’s heart attack and he’s progressing really well. He’s had four stents inserted and takes a dollop of pills daily which he tolerates quite well. However, one of his pleasures in life was/is playing and singing in a band - we’re not young, in our 70s, but hey - Mick Jagger

Can your experiences help me?
I have got swollen feet and ankles and have gained 2 stone since the first lock-down. A reply to a previous post suggested my medications may be the cause so I changed the Tildium for Asoprolol, in addition to the ones I was already on i.e Moxonodine, Ramipril, Bendroflumethiazide and Atorvastatin.
