Losartan
I have been taking Losartan for one month with no side effects. Previously tried Amlopidine with terrible side effects so could not tolerate it. I had been on Ramipril for about 12 years but when my dose was increased slightly my BP dramatically went up rather than becoming lower - 216/110 I have tried

High blood pressure symptoms question
Hi all, I've been diagnosed with high BP following 3 bouts of pre eclampsia. I've been feeling really dizzy, had blurred vision and nausea. I started ramipril 1.5mg last night. Just wondering if I should do anything about how I feel or see how I go?

Relationship between Ramipril and cluster migraine
Have suffered from severe migraine for over 50 yrs and taken sumatriptan for at least 40 years. Amlodipine and Peripheral Neuropathy
I have been on 10mg amlodipine for about 10 years. Bp is great/controlled. I have the usual side effect of swollen feet/ankles, and am used to it. In the last several years I developed peripheral bilateral neuropathy on the bottoms of my feet - no pain, just loss of feeling. Questions: could this be

Advice on episodes of fast heart rate, please
Hi all, bit of background, successful ablation January 2020 for AF. Don't drink or smoke, no caffeine, lost nearly 5 stone, regular long daily walks, good diet. I take sotalol 20mg twice daily, ramipril and amlodipine, both 5mg, rivaroxaban, lanzoprazole. OK since ablation until few months ago. Since

New to heart problems
Hello all, I have been a “watcher” for a while and thought that it was time to say hello and post my story. After a routine phone conversation with my Dr over a completely different matter, { testosterone levels } she noticed that I was out of breath. I explained that I had just done something and was

Medication induced insomnia?
Hi everyone, I’m new here and would appreciate any comments from anyone with similar experience. I had a pacemaker implanted 3 wks ago and was discharged on Bisoprolol 5mg, Apixaban 5mg twice daily, Amlodipine 10mg and Atorvastatin 10mg. I knew there might be side-effects and hoped they would settle

Does anyone recommend Losartan or Ace inhibitors?
I have issues with Amlodipine: anxiety, dizziness, insomnia. weight gain, exhaustion and have cut down to 2.5 mg with some improvement. Not sure if some of this is pandemic related anyway but have had amlodipine for over a year now and would like to try something else. My current readings are around

Feeling of stiffness and discomfort in left arm on amlodipine. Any similar experiences?
Hi all, I am a 37 year old female and I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. At first the GP thought that my suffering with covid was causing my blood pressure to remain high but after a month of consistent high readings, he started me on amlodipine on 15th March 2021. My feet became swollen

Amlodipine and cold feet?
I've been on 5mg Amlodipine for a year and it has got high blood pressure under control. I have started getting really cold feet with pins and needles at night, is this a known side effect?

New to Hypertension, some assistance please
Hi I'm new to this page having been diagnosed with Hypertension a couple of weeks ago. I was prescribed Amlodipine but that didn't reduce low enough so have now been given Ramipril too. I feel awful since taking Ramipril, at least I'm assuming it's that? My eyes feel 'fluttery', headache, stomach ache
