Sticky pooh
Check for SIBO. This does cause sticky BMs. A gastroenterologist ban diagnose this through a breath test. Most GPs have never heard of it.
Hi sorry to hear your problems. I would still ask GP for a referral to gastroenterologist even if there is a long waiting list you will still be on list. Eating loads of fruit veg yes is healthy but some fruits and veg can cause diarrhoea. As b1b1b1 says check for sibo. Mention to GP if no luck still ask for referral. Wish you well.
Going to phone tomorrow as pain is bad and not easing at all today .took buscopan and peppermint caplets to see if that would ease the pain . No luck so far .
Went to go today and she has asked for a stool sample and is referring me for more tests . But as she says it will take awhile . Plus she gave me antibiotics incase there is a infection . But if I start passing blood oor my pain gets worse to phone 111. My urine was clear . So see what happens this week .
Don't know what gp's will do when the epidemic is over.. they may have to do some work 😅
That is one lucky thing about the US. Doctors have continued to see patients throughout covid, as they don't make any money otherwise. A lot of precautions have been taken, however. If a doctor gets a salary, now matter what, they can get lazy and this can cause patients a lot of suffering and cause serious illnesses to be missed.
