New to high blood pressure
How long did it take for your blood pressure to settle and go down? I’m taking 50mg Losartan but was on ramipril for a little while before that, I got the cough with it and changed. My b/p is still erratic and I started the meds just 3 months ago. The gp is calling me next week x

Normal Life?
Good Afternoon I went through two years of having AF periods which (as par for the course) has become continuous since November. However I have no symptoms and continue to live my life normally. I’m an active gardener and as I live by the sea I love walking along the beach. My heart rate averages

Dapagliflozin
Following my Cardiology consult just before Christmas my cardiologist increased the dosage of Bisoprolol, changed my Simvastatin to an increased dose of Atorvastatin, but left my Ramipril as before. New addition to the regime is Dapagliflozin as I am borderline diabetic also. Do any of you take this

How do I know if stents successful
This may seem a silly question, I got 2 stents fitted on December 21st, and was discharged with very little advice, I got a letter saying I would have a telephone consultation on March 22nd just to see how things are. Since getting the stents I haven't had to use my spray, and am not suffering the pains

Hair loss from BP meds
Anybody else dealing with loss of hair as a side effect from their BP meds? My Dr. keeps switching from one medication to another but my hair keeps coming out. Have have thyroid test done and was normal. Dermatologist can find no reason for my hair loss. Do believe the stress of the situation is increasing

Shortness of breath on Ramipril
Hi Has anyone suffered from shortness of breath from Ramipril? I have been taking them since my HA in Oct 2020 and stent fitting. However, I thought my shortness ofbreath was due to my heart failure, but I actually saw a cardiologist this week for a follow up who gave me eneplenone (sorry about the spelling

Trying to cope after HA
Hi all - new here Had a HA last week (at a young age of 37!) here with 2 stents and a balloon angioplasty on my LAD. Apparently due to my age and lack of apparent risk factors, ,my case was pretty unusual and discussed within the cardio team. Having never been in hospital as an adult (nor even blue-lighted
