hi,

Has anybody else had trouble with coughing on indapamide .

or felodipine .

My doctor is saying can’t be the blood pressure drugs .

talk to your pharmacist. Many gp groups of surgeries nowadays have a pharmacist attached to them, so if you phone the surgery the “care navigator” might be able to get the pharmacist to call you for a discussion. Or your high street pharmacist.

Pharmacists know far more about meds and their side effect than gp’s do. They are not just pills dispensers.

Indapamide undoubtedly causes a cough. I’ve been taken off it recently for that very reason. It also wasn’t changing my blood pressure at all so no point taking it. It gave me a really nasty uncontrollable cough. Ask your doc to stop it for a while and see if your cough goes? Bet it does! Good luck.

I’ve been on felodipine for about four months now and I have noticed a cough but can’t say it’s all the time and not something I had necessarily connected to the drug.

Hi,I didn’t have an issue with coughing,mine was constantly feeling nauseous and severe headaches.
