He's only gone and do it!
Had to stop after week one as I had a flair up of Plantar
Fasciitis
then another week off at week two as had knee problems but it was all third time lucky and apart from splitting week 8 over two weeks as I still didn't have the confidence to take on the longer runs, had no further problems.

Help for Plantar Fasciitis?
I have PF in both heels. I was hoping that my new supportive trainers would help my feet become less painful, but that doesn't appear to be happening, especially now the runs are getting longer. Other than rest (not possible) does anyone have any suggestions to help ease PF? Do I need to buy some

week 1, looking like a pro before I run!
The first thing I did was visit a specialist running shop to buy shoes, as I have Plantar
fasciitis
in one foot I thought I should start off with good shoes, they are great, they are comfy like slippers but like I'm walking on air.

Damn those sore heals!!!!
Well, isnt that my luck, i finally get myself some correct trainers and i end up with Plantar
fasciitis
(sore heels). I think it must have been the hard pounding on my feet following my attempts to do week 1 at 11kph.... If you have never had them, thank yourself lucky.

Does anyone get bursitis, plantar fasciitis, etc. that last for weeks, often months?
I started with bursitis in the left hip in 2010, then a severe muscle pain in one buttock, then plantar
fasciitis
(pain the the sole of the foot) which made walking almost impossible.

Some Good news at last.
Firstly, I no longer have plantar
fasciitis
in both feet! I did at the start of the RA 4 years ago but he said that would normally have cleared up within a matter of months and I don't have it now.

Morning Stiffness!
'You have plantar
fasciitis
' 'maybe its tendonitis' ' I think you could have carpel tunnel syndrome' 'have you ever travelled to Timbuktoo?' 3 months of this and you start to think you're going to end up in the loony bin.

some good news ...
This is due to a combination of plantar
fasciitis
brought on by the Rheumatoid Arthritis and swelling and pain in both large toes and ball joints.

Belfast: its part in my downfall
The following ten years were a smorgarsbord of 'disclocated toes', plantar
fasciitis
, Meniere's Disease (another story in itself), knee problems, 'RSI', 'carpal tunnel syndrome', hot flushes, shoulder impingements and a host of other random and bizarre ailments I can neither spell nor pronounce.

Happy Feet
He has also suggested I see the Podiatry clinic to have insoles made which will help not only the RA but the plantar
fasciitis
as well. So popped into the surgery this morning and left a message for my GP. She knows what's wrong so I shouldn't need to see her and she can just refer me.

Coffee Time
Feet are very painful these last few days - either it is the plantar
fasciitis
flaring a bit or the RA in my toe joints or the chiropodist needs to sort them out. It is a while since I last went although I usually see him every 6 weeks.
