B12 Injections Stopped Working?
Hi everyone, Apologies as my story is a little long. I have hashimoto's thyroiditis. I gave up gluten, soy and milk, and along with levothyroxine my health has been great. However, in 2015 I was diagnosed with Vit D deficiency. After six months of treatment I recovered. Then after having a second baby

Sublingual b12
Hi, Can anyone recommend a place/brand of sublingual b12 to buy in the uk. My b12 is low normal and GP won’t give me injections as Intrinsic factor came back negative. I’m currently under investigations with a gastroenterologist and any tablet supplements make me vommit. Thank you

On the list for an ICD
Hi All, I was diagnosed with Heart Disease (Dilated Cardio Myopathy (DCM)) 16 years ago after an episode of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) which was fixed with a chemical conversion (Amiodarone) and have been stable until recently. I've been on Beta Blockers and ACE inhibitors to manage the condition. I had

Do you have Tinnitus? Do you suffer Chronic Inflammation and Low B12? Could it be your Vagus Nerve?
A few studies have linked decreased vagus nerve activity to obesity678. This makes intuitive sense given that the vagus nerve regulates insulin secretion and glucose homeostasis. The vagus nerve normally stimulates parietal cells in the stomach to secrete acid and intrinsic factor. Intrinsic factor is

Negative Intrinsic Factor & Parietal Cells
Sorry for yet another post! Just found out that the parietal cells blood test that I was waiting for and thought would get me the treatment and recognition from the GP I needed has also come back negative. As both now negative does this mean I do not have pernicious anaemia? I'll probably have a phone

More Advice Needed Please re low B12 now & 10 years ago
Hi all, I've been back to the docs again today (my 2nd home at the mo!!) where I saw a more sympathetic GP. On filling her in on my previous visits she told me that as well as my ferritin being low last March (when I was pregnant and started on iron tablets) my b12 was low 10 years ago when they tested

Blood results please, and retinal migraine?
Hi all, I take 2 grains (2 tablets) of Armour Thyroid daily. I split the dose - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I was taking 1.5 before bed and .5 in the morning, but the endo told me this week that my TSH is suppressed and that I need to take it more spaced apart so he can keep prescribing

Regular blood tests for b12?
Hi. Is this such a thing? From reading through lots of the previous posts, if you’ve had b12 injections, it will show your b12 as raised. My gp practice said to repeat blood tests in two months (starting b12 next Thursday as that’s the earliest appointment they’ve got!) Then he’ll do intrinsic factor

can I get pd in 3 weeks follow up
High blood pressure meds. calcium beta blockers. or ace inhibitors. that's what I was expected the ones on here longest to be asking me.. I believe these type of meds slow your heartbeat down or keep it at a steady rate. maybe they're PD MEDS are not getting a good delivery to where they should going

Epidural injections
I have OA and RA plus disc degeneration, spinal stenosis and history of herniated lumbar discs and related back surgeries. After having a lumbar MRI, I am awaiting suggested therapy of epidural injections for back, hip and knee pain. My concern is the addition of these injections in addition to my current
