Hi All

I had this for dinner two nights ago and it was absolutely delish so thought would share it

2 Basa Fillets Skinless from Tesco £2.50

give them a quick rinse and pat dry with paper towel

1 tsp of chilli powder and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, pinch of salt and some vegetable oil. make sure it is completely covered with the spices and 1 clove of garlic. Marinate overnight if you wish, I did and then Bake for 20 -25 minutes in foil wrap topped with two slices of lemon

I have pre homemade vegetable rice consisting if cauliflower and broccoli. Microwave for 3 minutes and squeeze some lemon juice on top and mix

That is it. it was lovely

Hi Anna61

Neither am I, I find some fish too fishy it that makes sense however this tasted rather chicken like :)

Mmm looks delicious. We eat basa fillets regularly, (even cheaper from Aldi). As you say, they don't taste fishy, for non-fish lovers they are perfect. So low calorie too. I roasted 25 minutes some frozen basa fillets last night, brushed with olive oil and salt and pepper, served with new potatoes on a bed of homemade ratatouille. Yummy!
