That’s a wrap...
Lunch today was a wrap with guacamole, cheese and lettuce. The guacamole is made with avocado, red chilli, garlic, tomato, red onion, lime juice, salt and pepper. Healthy and delicious.

Again a study on the dangers of low carb diet.

Weight gain
I have been on pramipexole for quite awhile. It is not working anymore. I have to take 2 mg one around 6 pm and then another around 9 pm. I do not get much sleep anymore. When I am awake in the middle of the night I eat like I have not ate in days. I can't stop myself. I read in the side effects

Weight loss plateau
Does anyone elss find that they have great results some weeks then a plateau for one or two weeks but that clothes fit better during this time and then the weight comes off maybe after 2 or 3 weeks. All is not lost
I've been to the gym every day this week but the scales seemed to be sticking - just a bit. Then I measured my waistline and found I'd lost a whole inch! It just goes to show that continuing success is not measured purely by weight loss. Want to lose another three inches at least from my waistline then

I don't filter my water (yet) though I do plan to buy a good table top filter at some stage. You can get good filters for a few hundred pounds that get rid

Giving up the 5:2 diet...
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of the 5:2 and it was a massive help in slowly getting me to change my eating ways. First by recognising real hunger to boredom hunger. And then for making better calorie choices and portion sizes. It got me on the road to my weight loss! But now I count calories daily

Slow and Steady
So I finally decided (after a lot of coaxing from my wife) to start exercising and dieting, its been about 18 days and I've lost 6.5 lbs so far and counting. Now to put that in perspective, I weighed 16.1 stone when I started and as per my BMI on NHS I am considered OBESE with a BMI of 36 @ 32 years
