I've been to the gym every day this week but the scales seemed to be sticking - just a bit. Then I measured my waistline and found I'd lost a whole inch! It just goes to show that continuing success is not measured purely by weight loss. Want to lose another three inches at least from my waistline then I'll be below the BMI safety threshold for my height and the weight should confirm the fact.

All is not lost
Non Scale Victories are definitely a thing! Take a moment to sit with your body - are you breathing easier, feeling fitter, have you noticed any mood changes that could be non scale changes that show your healthy lifestyle is paying off?
fighting fit! BP is down and feet didn't swell when I was on holiday. And no longer feeling so tired. I was told I was pre diabetic so had to do something. Was shocked to see my waistline was 36 inches. It's never been that before. Now it's 35. Only an inch off but I only began addressing the situation on the 13th of February.
The people around you will have no clue what the number on the scales is, but they will notice an inch off your waist! Go you!
That’s great well done! I haven’t measured myself for a long time and had the same reaction to the lack of weight loss on the scales, maybe I should get my measuring tape out 👍 x
Well done thats great. I found that too... I was being so good and little progress but then the scales caught up a week later.
Well done Goodnessknows, 😊👏🎉. I’ll take inch loss over scale weight anyday
