Guys that Spike with High T and Androgen101
In reading an article about Androgens, so I could understand how Xtandi works, I found this in that artical.... Although it’s not an androgen, someone may choose to have their SHBG levels tested if they’re worried about high androgen levels. As mentioned above, SHBG binds to testosterone. Sometimes high

When to go back on ADT
PSA is now < 0.02. Off of ADT now for fourteen months. On vacation. Do I go back on now as a precaution or wait till PSA rises and to what number? Also, if I decide to do high testosterone treatment is this a good time ? Thanks

Nubeqa monotherapy experiment coming to end
Sadly it looks like after roughly 9 months of Nubeqa as a monotherapy, the Nubeqa alone is not going to keep PSA at bay. PSA has steadily crept up from a low of .9 to 2.6 today. Ct scan showed that the size of the largest lymph node tumors had been greatly reduced, but there are more of them (not sure

My PSA is now at 47 after a high of 160 and a low of 5 after starting ADT with Firmagon, Abiraterone and Prednisone about 9 months ago
I was put on Firmagon in January and my testosterone responded almost immediately to less than 7, but the PSA kept rising, so I was put on Abiraterone and Prednisone in March. The PSA went from 160 down to 5 within about 3 months. Now my PSA is back to 74 and the testosterone is still negligible at <

Orchiectomy with TRT
Has anyone with an orchiectomy done TRT? I know that completely defeats the purpose but my wife's only concern with my doing an orchiectomy is that it means the permanent loss of libido. For the last couple of years, I have had zero endogenous testosterone but an ok libido when I do TRT (note that I

Any link between hypothyroidism and PCa?
Does anyone know if taking levothyroxine (Levo) a generic medication to treat underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) causes or exacerbates PCa? Proving Polycythaemia Vera (PV) with/without WHO2016 criteria
I’m seeking any guidance on Polycythaemia Vera (PV) and the application of WHO2016 criteria in its prognosis or lack thereof. My Dr believes I have it, although JAK2 & Exon 12 tests were negative, HGB in 18s, HCT>50s, RBC >5s, low normal EPO around 6-8, bone marrow biopsy “slightly hypercellular” and

Estrogen Patch ADT
My personal experience was that during the 6 months I was on estrogen patches, my testosterone was undetectable for the most part, it did bounce up to the low 20s a couple of times but I was experimenting with the dose. When I got the dose tuned in my testosterone was undetectable. Lupron reduces testosterone

Post thyroidectomy problems with gout medication (allopurinol)
Has anyone else had problems taking allopurinol along side their post thyroidectomy thyroid hormone replacement therapy (either T4 or combination therapy)? I have a background of Thyroidectomy (PCT) and Follicular Lymphoma. As a result of the FL I have high uric acid levels leading to gout and joint

Forgot estradiol 48 hrs
Sounds dumb but I didn't order more estradiol after my bottle ran out. I did just get a new bottle and started up again but it was 48 hrs between doses. I am waiting to hear from the clinic but am really worried! Anyone know how long is safe to go between doses? I am 6 weeks pregnant.

Is this pointing to cancer becoming castrate resistant?
This is a followup after my previous posting. I have been fighting metastatic prostate cancer since November 2018. Before this I had brachytherapy in 2011 for original diagnosis of Gleason 3 + 3 cancer and cyber knife + 9 months ADT for extra-capsular recurrence in 2016/2017. Since November 2018 I had

So I’ve been on the increase of Armour for a week and a couple days. I went from 15 to 30. I take the 30mg at 6 am before any other supplements, go back to sleep. When I wake up, I take the rest of my supplements. Which is vitamin d, vata supplement from banyan botanicals (this is good for me, I’ve used
