An Update on My Metastatic Cancer
Today, I had blood works and appointment with MO (nurse practitioner) three months after starting my second ADT break. I had the last 3 month shot of Eligard on March 2. My PSA was 0.116 on June 2 and today it was 0.104. All this time my Testosterone has been < 20. As long as my Testosterone remains

Up date on RT
As i posted on prostate UK I had a very positive meeting with the oncologist this morning. 1. He is pleased with PSA at 0.07 and testosterone not being measurable. 2. He recommended RT to further extend the benefits of HT. 3. RT will be on prostate beds and sem. visceral glands that may be affected

Latest PSA
Jim's latest PSA went from 0.1 in July to <0.1 the end of August. Not sure if that means undetectable, but it sounds like very good news to me. Also, Testosterone is still at <10. It took me two days to get the courage to look at results , gotta quit making myself sick every month. Anyway, thank

Any success stories of getting a BFP after testing negative on day 10/11
Hi fellow warriors Hope you’re all okay. Yesterday was our official test day (5dt10dpt) and we received a negative result but the nurses at our clinic have said to keep taking my pessaries for a few days and test again. Any success stories of a negative turning into a positive? I think I’m coming

2ww 10dp5dfet
Hi. I'm currently on my 2ww 10dp5dfet with 4AA grade Embryo. I started having cramping after the procedure for day 2 and 3 and little cramping everyday and then no cramping. I experienced some sensitive boobs but that has gone away. I'm experiencing alot of wet vaginal discharge that appears white/grayish

5α-Reductase Inhibitors are Associated with Reduced Risk of SARS-COV-2 Infection
New Cleveland Clinic study below. [1] Note: 5α-Reductase Inhibitors [5ARIs] - such as Dutasteride [Avodart] - inhibit the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone [DHT]. "SARS-CoV-2 has a disproportionately severe effect on men, suggesting that the androgen pathway plays a role in the disease

LOTS of interesting labs!
Hi guys, I’m attaching here a lot of hormone lab work I’ve gotten done. Do you know what’s going on with my high RT3? Additionally, if my Testosterone is so high, then why is my DHEA so low? I am a 21yo male and I started taking Armour Thyroid in February 2020. Dates are on all the labs so you’ll be

Blood test results
Hello, I am quite unwell at the moment and I find my symptoms are only getting worse. I have had some blood tests come back which in my opinion are quite worrying yet doctors just say 'everything's fine, the results are normal'. I met with a private endocrinologist yesterday who was extremely unhelpful

Associations of fat and muscle mass with overall survival in men with prostate cancer: a systematic review with meta-analysis
New study below. [1] I think it clarifies claims that "fat" has a survival value - which contradicted many studies that found higher BMI to be risk factor. It has long been recognized that the body mass index [BMI] is a poor surrogate for visceral fat. Visceral fat - including periprostatic fat - is

Thyroid estriol
Hello I apologise that this is similar to my other posts, but I’ve hit an incredible low!! I have not had a period for a year - nearly 50 - and tests 6 months ago from medi checks showed I was going towards menopause. So - no blood tests right now! I have paid to see a bio identical hormone doctor
