Hi everyone, I have been referred to an NHS fertility specialist and my appointment is mid-January. This is the first time I have been through this and looking to see if anyone can tell me a little more about the process and what kind of timescales to expect for starting treatments? Creatinine Question
For years my family doctor said my high creatinine was due to my testosterone replacement (I have a pituitary tumor that causes low T). Then my cardiologist said that I had CKD, which led to an appointment with a Nephrologist. Nephrologist confirmed CKD. I've just been doing some reading on the subject

Testosterone issue.
I had a follow up visit with my PCP last month. Of course he knows about my advanced PC. He ordered a round of lab blood exams, as always. About a week later, I got a call from his office to tell me PCP is is concerned about low testosterone count<50 and wants to repeat lab exam, they told me come early

GP Visit and HRT worries 😰
I have been to see my GP today. A few bits of positive news! 1. I am being referred to an Endo who is on the good Endo list ☺️ and has prescribed T3 in the past. My appointment is in March. My GP shown me that she emailed with her. My GP also got more blood tests done and this time it was not a surprise

When to do certain blood tests and why.
Just coming up on my 6 month anniversary of radiation and my 2 months prior to radiation and 4 months post Lupron while on radiation. So I have been off Lupron for 2 months. I had my annual physical yesterday and my GP had ordered complete blood panel with thyroid and PSA. There were no issues with blood

Hormones
My M.E. Specialist asked for Prolactin and Testosterone blood tests. They have come back as follows :- Serum prolactin level 160 mlU/L (102.0 - 496.0) Serum testosterone level 0.7 no l/L (0.1 - 1.4) Normal, no further action. Knowing that other tests when in range are not always favourable levels

Rectocele anyone?
I am looking for other women's experiences regarding a rectocele? I was diagnosed around 25 years ago but really had no symptoms until recently. Now I have a feeling of pressure in my rectum most of the time and it's very uncomfortable. I was wondering what measures others have taken ... an operation

My husband has been rediagnosed with NMPC he is on ADT which is holding the Testosterone very low but psa shot upto 82. New MO is starting Enzalutimide plus continuing ADT. Not looking forward to the side effects, but will perservere until psa drops. We have been discussing using Estradiol to help

testerone treatments
I am a 70-year-old man with persistent a flutter. I’ve had four ablations they have not worked. I noticed in the last year I have lost considerable muscle mass. Being a former college athlete, it’s hard to see your body deteriorate. My brother has been taking testosterone pellets for the last year.

BAT trial update
I commenced the trial about 2 months ago and I have now had 2 cycles of treatment consisting of testosterone injections and carboplatin infusions. 5 days ago I had my first CT and bone scans and the trial leader tells me my 3 detectable rib metastases are 'stable'. The stable assessment is good enough
