Bleeding before FET
I’m due to have my first FET in 2 days time. In the last 24 hours I’ve had cramps and spotting. I’ve been taking 2mg estradiol 3 times daily and started cyclogest pessaries 400mg 3 days ago. I contacted the consultant who advised me to increase the progesterone to 3 times daily. Also we’ll do a scan

Advice on ACTH and thyroid results please
I had a '2nd opinion' visit to an NHS endo on 24/8/22. I specifically asked the endo to comprehensively test my pituitary function, as I think that's where my problems are located (low thyroid and cortisol). She did a lot of blood tests and an ACTH test. After a fair bit of chasing up I've now been copied

Lupron and scalp hair growth?
Two months on Lupron and I swear the hair on my scalp is growing thicker, and maybe even filling in places that were really sparse. I was never completely bald, but definitely had that male pattern baldness well on its way. Am I crazy, or is this possible? Have others noticed same? Maybe lack of testosterone

RP 7/19 Radiation completed 2/20. 10/21-recurrence PSA .29 1/22-PSA 1.29 Biopsy of Hilar Lymph node tested positive for prostate cancer. 6 month Lupron shot 1/22 PSA has remained <0.04 until yesterday - now 0.08 no less than sign, Testosterone

Orgovyx
Orgovyx works as advertised. I have been taking it for over a year now. Zero testosterone. And sex is no desire.

Latest Blood Test Results Good BUT ...
Having been on Prostap (ADT) now for almost 3 months (I get my second shot next week), I had another blood test today. Testosterone was down from 9.8 in July to 0.88 today. Frustratingly, my PSA from today's test won't be revealed until Nov 7th but my bone mets feel more pronounced now than 3 months

Anastrozole with BAT question
As I experiment with BAT (to the horror of some), one of my doctors has strongly told me to limit Anastrozole to 0.5 mg once every two months or, at most, 0.5 mg at the time of injection and 0.5 mg one week later, saying “anastrozole only stops the conversion to estradiol. 2-OHE1 and 16a-OHE1 are

Xtandi Superior to Zytiga? Maybe Yes? Xtandi prevents resistance to Testosterone because it upregulates the AR while inhibiting its activity

Update on Daddy-O
I want to thank everyone who gave me advice and encouragement regarding my dad's increasing PSA (which was compounded by possible complications from his brain cancer and heart issues). We went to the oncologist and he determined that he wanted to wait a bit longer before acting due to the fact that

Why does BAT work in so few?
Bipolar Androgen Therapy (BAT), which entails cycling between androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and very high doses of testosterone (T) has had disappointing results. No one really understood why only 20-30% of castration-resistant (CRPC) men derived any benefit and why even that was usually short-lived

Did not get baseline testosterone level at start of my Eligard shots.
Just diagnosed in May, 2022 with potentially very aggressive PCa. Dechipher very high, 0.88. Uptake on PSMA PET heterogeneous.MO waiting until Nov. for CT and bone scan to confirm mets to pubic bone. Started ADT (3 mo. Eligard shot) on August 11, also I was sent to lab for PSA test and baseline testosterone

What to do about Adderall Toxicity, i.e. it messes with your endocrine system. Withdrawal, long term side effects.
Anyone else have to deal with Adderall Toxicity? Adderall messing with your endocrine system? Not overdosing or to that extreme. But long term use where your body is dependent on the medication and there are long term side effects. i.e. if you crash and out if you stop taking adderall, or have found

starting intermittent hormonal therapy
My MO started me on intermittent hormonal therapy yesterday. He had suggested this several visits ago. I started Lupron August of 2020 when my PSA was 7.14. Since I started ADT my PSA and Testosterone have been nil. I have a script for PSA & Testosterone blood tests in 90 days. He told me When PSA rises

How fast does ELIGARD drop PSA? My urinary symptoms are worsening despite the injection, TURP and Testosterone under 20.
My PSA was 9.75 (07/28/2022) and testosterone 43 (08/17/2022) when I got my first ELIGARD 45mg dose on 08/18/2022. I'd been in a full time Foley catheter for two weeks at that blood On 09/06/2022 PSA had dropped to 3.95 (18 days) and Testosterone to 17. On 09/23 it had only dropped to 3.80 (5 weeks

HRT newbie help! NHS appointment, finally!
I needed a post of my own after "130396"s post today about Utrogestan and Estradot. It's taken almost 7 months but my NHS phone appointment is finally around the corner now, next Thursday. GP was reluctant to prescribe HRT herself. My periods first stopped in September 2020, then made a reappearance

Male - low testosterone
Hey, I have a question around male fertility. My husband has just received blood results with low Testosterone rating. Does anyone know if this can affect male fertility / sperm count etc ? He will be speaking to GP about this, but the tests he done were private ones which you can buy on line ( kinda

Medichecks Result and a warning about testing & HRT
Apologies for the long post (my first) and thank you if you manage to get to the end of it. Bit of history first (there's more in my bio), after 7 years of being bedbound with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, I was finally prescribed combination T3/T4 in 2018. I hadn't had my bloods checked since 2019
