Am I missing any options / pipeline developments that could allow me to stop HT?
I am really hating being on HT now my treatments are over. I am on monthly Degarelix and daily Abiraterone. Clearly I love my PSA having the less than sign and want it to stay that way but am starting to be miserable with how much the HT is changing me. it’s not just the no libido which on its own

Anybody has testicle pain ?
I am on ADT and Apalutamide for 1 year and lately I have some discomfort in my testicles. It is not a sharp pain, feels more like they are full .Since there is hardly any testosterone they should not be full right ? Pre cancer days I would masturbate for a relief but since I lost all my libido I

DE failure
Our 5 th rounds has failed used DE this time. I don't know where to turn now. What else can I try. I was on on 12 mg oestradiol 120mg Utrogestan and prontogest every 72 hours. Inhixa. Used the results from ERA treated the bacterial infection my womb had from the EMMA result. What else is there I can

breast pain
I have been off of ADT (Lupron/Zytiga) for about a year and a half - my PSA remains at about 0.2 since my testosterone came back about a year ago (currently at 250 ng/dl). a couple of months ago, both breasts started to hurt. They did swell under ADT but have remained constant since I went off. the

Milestone Day
Today is the 1st day of the rest of my life! I had my final TreStar injection in April and my Last Zytiga/Prednisone yesterday. 2 years of treatment (also had proton therapy) following the Stampede protocol. Now it is time to watch and wait! Prayers up that the testosterone returns, and the PSA does

huge difference in blood pressure readings in 30 munitues
I am now 58 years old female. Two years ago after my eldest son unexpectedly passed away my blood pressure drastically went up from my normal 129/90 to somewhere between 203/113 and 160/100 for about four months. I went on Lercanidipine 20mg once a day (also Estradiol HRT). In less than 6 months, I

T and PSA basically undetectable. Is adding testosterone or having a colonoscopy 3 years post treatment a good or bad idea for the elderly?
Cancer in late 2019 was G9 with no indication of escaping the capsule. PSA was <10. Treatment initially casodex followed by one session high dose brachy, 25 sessions IMRT and 18 months Lupron. Currently PSA undetectable and T still <2.5. Pushing through a regular exercise routine but have no energy

Covid prior to ivf
I tested positive for covid last Friday, but negative both Saturday and today. I’m due to start stims either tomorrow or Tuesday. I was barely ill- I had a cough for a day and that was it. We think it’s likely my partner had it as well, he was even less symptomatic, just a scratchy throat for 24hrs at

Venesection and NAFLD and serum ferritin
Hi after recent blood tests which showed my red blood count well above normal my Urologist has proposed venesection. The reason the Urologist believes my red blood count is so high is because I am on testosterone replacement therapy. I have diagnosed NAFLD my LFTs platelets all normal. My serum ferritin

Smoother skin From Lupron? Chemo?
I've been on Lupron for 2 mo. now and recently finished my 2nd chemo (docetaxel). I've noticed recently that my skin is very soft & smooth. Still have most of my body hair. Skin used to be rough in spots and dry in spots, but now that's gone. Could this be the lack of testosterone? From the chemo?

Are we doing enough?
I am pasting what I've posted in the facebook groups. Maybe someone can give me some insight. I'm posting for my husband. I feel like my hubby can't catch a break. I don't know if we need to try seeing another oncologist or if it's just how his body is reacting and there's nothing we can do about

Good News-But Do I Belong Here?
Hello all. I comment/reply sometimes (usually about exercise), but create posts much less often. It's been awhile though, and something has come up that prompts this one, Quick recap: RP in June '19 and a subsequent clinical trial beginning Sept '19 due to positive lymph node and seminal vesicle invasion

Undetectable PSA is back
Maybe I can ask for your advice? You find my full bio in my profile. Yesterdays blood test shows PSA < 0.05 and Testosterone 0.03. I restarted Lupron end of January, so it’s now six months. Would you recommend a total of 12, 18 or 24 months before the next holiday or continue „forever“? Comment: side

Estrogen Dose Too High?
My hormones history is very long, so I won'tgo into great detail , but I had a hysterectomy (everything gone) about 16 years ago. I did fine on 1 mg oral estradiol for about 8 years. About 8 years later, I crashed badly with every menopausal symptom. The worse being the psychological ones. Not one

Oestradiol patches day 15 or 16?
Has anyone done a protocol where they started using oestradiol 100mcg patches part way through their cycle then started stimulation injections at their next period? My protocol says to start the patches on Day 15 or Day 16. At one point on the phone the nurse definitely said in passing start on Day 15

Blood test results and thoughts on why I feel rubbish please (long post for help)
Hi folks I feel pants. I have been feeling pants for many months/probably 2 years with all of the symptoms below and it is now being made worse by the after effects of Covid which I had a month ago. The questions I have are.... What else can I do or take to feel a bit better again? Has anyone else

Follow up with VA Testosterone Trial
July 21st I completed my blood work and received my next testosterone shot. My ALP was 63 but my PSA numbers are climbing with a 14.4 result. I left out of my last post that I have three cancer areas on my spine where the neck area is the worst. I've had radiation on my neck twice at the end of 2019
