Ginkgo biloba
I seen this herb chart in my chemist and it said this herb is good for blood flow for raynaud's syndrome, with the cold winter coming in, and being off aza I've noticed my hands getting white again, it's not painful and I don't want to take medication for it because it doesn't bother me that much just

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Medicinal Fungi - Turkey Tail (Coriolus versicolor)
Turkey tail is a common enough medicinal mushroom [1]. Why try it? Study [5] explains my interest. There are very few supplements that target stem-like PCa cells. Conventional cancer therapies are thought to fail because the stem-like cells are not targeted. e.g. PCa stem-like cells do not require androgen

Hints and tips please from my "Scleroderma family"? (new on this website)
Dear "family", It's been only a few days that I came across this forum and I've already found some of the posts invaluable. I was diagnosed with limited sSc in late August and the Internet has been my only advisor...It's good to know that on this forum there is a person on the other side, one that I

CONSTIPATION when Hypo
I don't know if it helps anyone, but I have found my own natural cure for constipation which was really problematic for me after TT and Levo was removed pre IRA. I take 1 Green Tea Extract tablet 750 mg from Holland and Barrett daily and it has restored a regular toilet habit. It is totally natural

Thyroid Gold - any info?
Has anyone had any experience with using Thyroid gold? (Can't publish link here apparently). Allegedly it's NZ desiccated thyroid extract - 150mg or 300mg. I have been using NZ compounded T3/T4 NDT but it is very expensive plus postage, VAT etc. I have emailed them for confirmation of T3/T4 strengths

Turmeric, Michael Mosley proves efficacy..
Last episode of "Trust me I'm a doctor" shows positive result of tumeric in combating cancer. Not caps or supplements, but the powder was used effectively in experiment at Newcastle University. Exciting programme worth watching, will definitely continue using it! Details on programme website.

Day 1, Again, ruddy hell....
So it's such a joke. So I don't workout for 4 days, but I ate sensibly and all that, and I've put on everything back that I worked for in the previous 2 weeks. Just because I didn't go to the gym. This is ruddy impossible, I can't seem to win at this. I realise I have put on a stone and a half in the

Find relief in avoiding certain foods
Five years ago I was suddenly hit with a horrible illness. But it wasn't till three years ago that I was diagnosed with Lupus. I have not yet given into any prescription medication, but only because I have been able to control it with what I eat. My physical body structure has scoliosis and lordosis

How did Rx for fatigue work for you?
Seven years ago I was diagnosed with CLL. I have recently passed from W&W into Stage 1 Over the past several months my fatigue has gotten out of control. Moderate daily exercise, green tea tablets, tumeric, vitamin D, vitamin B, etc., plus acupuncture--all those things together are no longer enough.

Alternative to Ibuprofen???
Due to a bleed in my tummy, I'm not able to take Ibuprofen. Someone mentioned Tumeric capsules from the likes of Hollande & Barratt to me today as a natural anti-inflammatory. Is this real/does it work? Any other options?
