Based on studies out of Mayo clinic I started taking EGCG soon after being diagnosed in April. I've taken both the capsules (from a local health food store and liquid extract from my naturopathic oncologist. I've not had any side effects. It might be a good idea to use one of the free on line drug interaction tools if you are taking anything else. This could help you determine if EGCG might interact with anything else you are taking.
