Just a quick question as I'm not sure how to proceed... So I've been on 2 grains of thiroyd for around 6 weeks now and ndt since the beginning of June and feel 80-90% most of the time... However the last few days I've been feeling really tired when I wake up again (fine after a couple hours) and sleeping

Trying out different vitamins
My original count was 33 when o found out I had ITP about 9 weeks ago I looked up many items on ITP and some said diet and vitamins helped. I thought I would give it a try. I totally changed my diet and stopped drinking alcohol I don't know if it is a coincidence or not as I know they can jump up and

Thank hou my dear ones on the Other Side of The Pond. Interstitial lung disease, AND shrinking lung disease, are causing me great pain. Even hallow breathing hurts, and i still feel winded. I am demoralized, then alternatively, in high spirits knowing that i CAN heal this inspite of Western Allopathic

Easy Tumeric mix
I see so much about the benefits of this and decided to find an easy way to take it as I don't like capsule form. Not only is it easy but I loved the taste! This makes a batch for ease of use. OK. Get a screw top jar and add 3 tablespoons tumeric 2 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon ground ginger

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Zyflamend
lukedohner asked about Zyflamend & suddenly, I am briefly at the other end of the alphabet. First, I need to say something about Dr. Aaron Katz, who has conducted studies using Zyflamend. Katz used to be at the Columbia University Center for Holistic Urology. In 2007, he made a video [1] in which he

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Cranberries - (Vaccinium macrocarpon)
I expect that if a male thinks of cranberry juice at all, it's mostly in the context of treating female bladder infections. The same proanthocyanidins that sit in the bladder before voiding, will pass through the urethra, which in men, passes through the prostate. It's a bit of a stretch to think that

The possible dangers of EGCG.
This posting is a followup raising issues about the combination of EGCG + Salmon oil + Vitamin C or quercetin/bromelain with levodopa as a substitute for Carbidopa/levodopa (EGCG....levodopa) or Entacapone + levodopa (quercetin + levodopa). The forth posting in the thread. https://healthunlocked.com

Changes I made since diagnosis
I switched to a plant-based, sugarless, vegan diet and my numbers did improve after a year. I also added green tea extract supplements. I am now on many immune boosting supplements after seeing an integrative MD.

This may help you
I was diagnosed in 2010, though blood tests show that WBC started to increase in 2007, following a car accident. Since diagnoses I changed my diet fairly radically, eating pretty much vegetarian, though also eating fish occasionally. I attribute the slow progress of the disease to that, plus feeling

Platelet-activating factor
New study [1] below. As might be expected, platelet-activating factor [PAF] triggers the aggregation of platelets that is an early step in clot formation. But PAF is somewhat mysterious. PCa cells contain a receptor for PAF [PAFR]. The new study: "found that PAFR was overexpressed in prostate cancer

Haemoglobin
Hello again friends. I have just got my latest blood test results back, my CRP is 0.8 and ESR is 10, so it seems that my adding raw garlic daily to my eating together with the daily ginger, tumeric and cinnamon are helping to keep the inflammation at bay. But, my Haemoglobin level has gone down a touch
